Hey guys, I need abit of help on what kind of info and such that investors want to know. I have played EVE for about 3 months now and I started with EVE because of the advanced economics in the game.
Im only doing trading. Got 3 chars on 2 accounts that Im using and just started a third account on friday.

Im trading between trade hubs and earn about 300-600m a day with 12b in assets. Just got a loan for goods worth 6b that Im currently selling to raise more capital. But Im looking for more capital so I can move into more markets and into 2 more trade hubs with my new account.

The problem is since Im only doing trading I have no collateral to put up for a loan. And since Im such a new memberwith to real record in EVE community its hard for investors to thrust me with their money.
I have tried to get an audit from Grendell and Vaerah Vahrokha but Grendell has stopped doing audits and VV don't have the time atm.

So how can I show an investors that im thrustworthy without any collateral? I was hoping to get a loan with 20b or more. But since I got no collateral I quess thats alot of isk to loan out..

I know I should give away my API key for the investors, but then again can't an investor just copy my trade routes and markets?

and yeah I don't haul the stuff myself. I use PushX so there shouldnt be much risk with loosing isk on trading

A few important things:
1) Proof of your success. Share API on request, an audit, etc
2) Trust. Why should we think you won't just leave with the money.
3) Risks. How do you trade.

This is what I could think of in quick order. I would recommend looking at other people's bond/loan requests.

Here is a link to my bond that was filled successfully as a new trader. I looked at the past history of bond offerings and looked at what it took to be funded. I firmly believe the community here is pretty good at ferreting out people who want to scam from the start. While the sum you are looking for is quite large, if you can work on setting the right terms with total transparency, you might be able to get funded.

But what is a limited API? Is there a way to show my trade is earing isk without revealing the goods and the hubs?

Btw should I just start asking for a small bond of like 2b and then increasing it once people understand that I can be thrusted?

A limited API shows what you want it to show. I initially thought like you, and did not want to give away my hard earned trading secrets. however, you must remember that your investors have BILLIONS in free isk laying around, and the reason they are investing is that have neither time or inclination to actively trade that isk. Chances are very very small that someone is just waiting with baited breath to steal the fact that you make 1.1m isk on each Mega Pulse Laser II moved from Jita to Dodixie. It is just not worth their time. Trust me, if you are doing hub trading, you are not sitting on some pile of amazing data. You are earning your isk with hard work and good research for sure, but there is nothing earth shattering in your methodology. Once you come to terms with the fact that the only way to earn trust is by trusting others with your information, you will have taken a huge step towards being funded.

The whole point of investing is having the money do the work and not have to spend the time doing it directly. So when you seek investors, they want the gritty details to decide where the best place to put their money is.

Trust me, nobody who is looking to invest will be stealing your thunder.

Why do you need investors?

You have 12B in assets, and your profit (300-600M daily) is in the range of 9-18B in a month. In two months you will have around 40-50B ISk easily.

You will find that you quickly hit the wall at this point, and that new capital doesn't really help or improve profits greatly.


If this is a legit request, I would recommend not bothering. You are doing very well by yourself, why bother with investors and all the hassle.


My feeling is that you have oversold yourself here, and people be wary of giving money to someone who doesn't need it.
Also the levels you require to make a difference will be in the 10's of Billions with no collateral, so good luck!

Well like I said, atm Im only trading in two hubs. Want to move into two more hubs and expand my trading into high flow trade goods. Atm I mostly trade in goods that sell 1-10 in a month. So its get abit booring. Want goods that has less profit but faster turnover so I have something more to do. ATM I just sit watching EVE and hope to get some selles so I can update my buy orders.

If I get more capital I got more things do in EVE. I tried missions to increase standing I thought it was booring. So the only thing I do in EVE is trade (quess Im quite wierd in that way)

But yeah Im doing fine by myself, but if I get more capital I can do even better ;) I quess your right, I would need 10-20b.

But couldnt I ask for a small bond 5b and for 1 month and raise it after when people see that I didnt run of with the money?
Or isnt there a chance of getting big loans without collateral?

Btw what do u mean oversold? And hit the wall? U mean I will get bored of trading?
