Can't find Agent Missions

Hey all,

So my friend just started doing his first tutorial. After accepting Aura's tutorial and doing his first steps in navigating his pod around in space, that one step came up where it told him to Warp to the Location of his mission to get in his rookie ship. The problem is he can't find the "Agent Missions" line on top left corner of his screen nor has any mission running when looking in his journal. I remember having the same problem as he has when I first started but don't remember how I got passed by it.

Anyways, he's stuck on that step and is having a headache. Can someone help?

It sounds like your friend didn't accept the mission from Aura to start with.

Unless he/she actually hits "accept" from their convo, it will not show up.

Yes, we all sometimes forget to accept the mission and have to run back to the station Oops
Open your journal : you should have the mission's line in it. Is it written "offered" in yellow, or "accepted" in green ?

He accepted it alright or how would he be following the tutorial that I already mentioned in the first place?

It's not showing in the journal either.

Because reading the instructions in the window prior to "accepting" the mission does not constitute foregoing with said mission.

If the mission does not show up in the journal or show up below the system display in the top left corner...Then the mission was not accepted.

Either way, I would suggest returning to the station and accepting it again. If that does not initiate the next course of action, I would think towards submitting a petition.

I accepted the mission but it never appeared anywhere in the "upper left corner of the screen".

I clicked through everything, and wasted about 20 minutes doing so.

After reading this I went back to the station to find not only is there no assignment but it said my ship was lost and I was getting another and a gratuity payment.

There is still no assignment, and no help to be had from anyone online.

Seriously...if it's this difficult just to start how the heck does anyone successfully play this thing?

....now I'm in the capsule looking at a planet and nothing else is around, and I can't get back, I can't apparently do much of anything and there's no help to be had. Your "rookie chat" is a complete waste of time, there are way too many people that need help compared to the number of people answering questions - your poor moderator is overwhelmed. I'm stuck trying to alt-tab and GOOGLE stuff, which is also proving to be a waste of time because nothing relevant is coming up.

What I did manage to find is a "planet development" wiki that looks to be the length of a novel - and has nothing to do with my current predicament...no thanks, this is too messed up for me. If you need to read a 400 page book to start to play the game and help is unavailable or worthless, it's too complicated people.

Ok if you accepted it and there's an issue file a petition to reset the mission and you should be able to get a rookie ships at any station you do not already have a ship.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post
