I don't know at what point these occured, as I had an inactive account for about four months;

But I've noticed two things that don't effect my gameplay, but I thought I'd post if it interested any of the programmers, ect.

First off, I've noticed that, since I dual account, when I've warped in with my cargo ship, that it doesn't display that my miner is mining, though in my second window it shows the mining lasers just fine. If I stop, and restart the laser, then it displays on both screens as it should.

Secondly, mining laser sounds are not cycling. I hear them once, and then they quit. I don't know if this was inteneded or an accident in not letting the sound loop.

Thanks!

Here are a few suggestions that might help solve this.

Run Windows update and install any available updates
Install the latest available drivers for your graphics card, sound card and motherboard.
Clear your Cache and settings files as per:

If this does not work would you be so kind to take the time to report a bug about the issue so the developers can investigate the issue in more detail and release a fix for it as quickly as possible. The more reports they receive about the issue from different aspects and hardware profiles the better.

This is done at our website under the EVE Insider tab: https://bugs.eveonline.com/newbugreport.asp
Here are further instructions on how to file a useful bugreport: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_reporting
Windows users please include a logserver log with your bugreport: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Log_Server
Mac users please incliude a Cider trace log with your bug reports: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mac_bug_reporting#Generating_a_Cider_Trace_Log_File

~Quincyy.

Clearing you cache will do nothing to help this problem, the strip miner sounds have been broken since incarna was introduced. As far as I am aware no one from CCP has verified if they are working as intended or not. I presume not because on the test server the broken sound changed to something like every 8 seconds rather than once a cycle.

Also since incarna I have noticed my mining drone laser beams do not show on the first cycle the only become vissible on the second cycle.

I figured it wasn't a cache thing, because it wasn't a huge graphical thing or any kind of game breaking error, just very little minor things that don't downgrade the gameplay.

If this problem is also occurring on the test server then there's something wrong with the sound engine in regards of mining sounds. Filing a bug report on the issue will hopefully help the developers locate the exact cause of this. The more reports they receive on the issue from different computer hardware specifications the better.
