Hi guys,

Our corp sent an application to join an alliance on the 28th/29th and it was accepted on the 30th. The application status changed to "Accepted" at this time. But, we are still not in the alliance.
Does anybody know what could cause this? I have petitoned it, but the staff seem to be busy and it's taking a while so wondering if anybody knows of something I could have missed?

Thanks

The alliance application only becomes effective after 24 hours. You should be in the alliance by tomorrow.

Have you tried jumping to conclusions that there is a broken mechanic involved or that it is a conspiracy by CCP?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Well I'm CEO and I can't see anything to do that. I don't think I did it before.

When the application is accepted by the alliance you enter an "accepted" state that lasts for a minimum of 24hrs, but in reality is more like 24.5hrs. After 24.5hrs you'll be a member of the alliance.

There are exceptions to this. If your application gets accepted, and then you declare war on someone you will remain in the "accepted" state until you leave your outgoing war. So, in theory you could be stuck in the accepted state forever and not be able to abort it ever.

That may be it. We dec'd an alliance over a week ago but corp from that alliance have been dropping out left right and centre so we automatically dec them with the new mechanics. One or more of them could overlap the acceptance I suppose.

We have 11 wardecs now with the new mechanics :-/
