Standing Split for Missions?

Is it possible to split standing rewards for missions with fleetmates? My brother and I are running missions together, he accepts them, we do them together, yet even if he splits the reward I receive no standing modifiers.

Is this intended?

If he splits the rewards, you should get both a portion of the completion award and the corporation and agent standings increase. This does not apply to faction standings increases (which only come from storylines). In order to boost your faction standings, you need to accept missions until the 16th and take the storyline. You can, of course, still run them all together.

I mean Corporation standing increases* such as (in this case) Republic University.

Do I also need the mission in my log for that to happen?

Nope. As long as he elects to share mission rewards, you should automatically get the increase. To monitor this, go into your character sheet, select standings, right click the corporation you're interested in, and select "show transactions". If he's doing it right, you should show a log of the increase with the name of the mission, date/time completed, etc.

Yep that would be what I'm checking, and I'm seeing no increase. Strange.

I'll look into it more in the morning, thanks for your help.

you only share corp standings, afaik no faction standings share. not sure about derived standings since they depend on corp, but the change would be so microscopic i dont see the point in doing it.

You could also check your wallet to see if you are receiving any of the payouts from those missions.

If you are getting the cash then you are also getting the standings, but for some strange reason they aren't being logged properly.

If there are no payouts in your wallet you aren't receiving the standings, and neither is your brother sharing them. If he isn't getting the option to share open up the escape menu and reset the mission rewards window, check the share option after completing the next mission, and the do not show this window again. Problem should now be solved

Note; the payouts will be listed as mission rewards (i.e. from the agent), ignore the bounty payouts.

I would say either you are experiencing a bug, If you are in fleet, and he chooses share rewards with fleet, you should get a cut of mission rewards, loyalty points, and standings.
Other option is your brother is scamming you and only saying he is sharing the rewards, but keeping it all for himself, while allowing you to think it is a bug...
Either way, it has happened, you would not be the first.

Actually strangely enough, logged on this morning and checked transaction changes, apparently all the corp standings adjusted with a massive delay (they're registered a few hours AFTER I did mission and went to bed).

Quite strange.

Regardless, got my rep though, which makes me happy.

Another thing to keep in mind, you will only get the shared standings if you are in the agent's solar system when the mission is turned in.

[Edit] ^ That's what I'd been told before, but according to Zhilia Mann (And Eve Wiki now that I've been arsed to check) I'm wrong. So yeah, just disregard that. :D

If you are in a fleet with someone who requested the mission (and then completes it) they can choose to share the bonuses with other fleet members. If they choose to share the payout each player will get a split of the rewards and standing gains to the corporation and agent as well as LP and isk.

The standing gains and rewards (assuming 2 fleet members) will be 1/2 the base rewards and standing gains, and then each player has skills and such added to the values. This means a player with a higher connections, negotiations, or mission specific skill will receive higher standing gains, isk, and LP.

You do not share standing / rewards for completing storyline missions (faction standing). Also helping with a mission does not count towards your 16 mission count to unlocking a storyline mission. Only the person who accepted the mission will.

Not true. You can be anywhere across the EVE universe and if rewards are shared you'll still get the standings boost.

A little offtopic but i found it possible to ask here.

I got "security status" which i understand and i got "corporation standing" just below of it, on most character's info panels. What is it? I got it "0.0". Is it some kind corp standing in organization we are currently in or concord factor? And how to raise it or lower if its possible and worthy.

That's the standing of your corp towards that individual, corporation, or alliance (inherited in the reverse order listed). Unless you're talking about something else entirely....
