No. If you can't take the time to find one of the many, many examples why should I?

page 2, page 3, page 4, page 5.....they are all over man.

afk cloaky is the weekly thread with repeats in same week here.

If serious about this, read them to save a few bits of space on the server. I'll help

We got
fuel for cloak
timer for cloak
ihub/system upgrades mods to decloak
dessie mods to decloak
a recent one....thermal vision on blops to kind of find cloakies (this was at least a new one)

If trolling...man, one of you afk trollers will actually impress us wth an original troll. This was not it. Till then...sound like the 100's that came before, gonna get the usual treatment.

Well this is gonna be flamed:)

Its one of the finest moduels in eve, and for its it intended use its great for gameplay. But i feel that its power is to great and it also allows for a gameplay that i feel is drain for many peoples enjoyment of the game, including mine.

therfore suggestion is simple:
Add a duration timer on it, say 10-15mins, or more for that sake, since you should be able to do the most important RL stuff before timer goes out (If not flamed out, duration is something to discuss.)

This will limit afk playing when not behind the computer, so that some people around eve can do some low level logistics at least some hours of the clock.

Secondly it will give us the possibility to accually scanning down and combating threats during a day.

So the only difference for those in intel gathering, hunting and other departments of Eve, is that they have to look at that account before timer runs out take a short warp and reactivate cloack.

But i feel that it would make Eve a better place and give us more interresting kills.

Thanx for the link there.
I accually did a forumserch preposting, hehe, but i searched for the cloacking device... my bad.

Well my aim for te balancing was not directed directly at afk`ing, it was more towards the part of intel gathering and combating covert ops.

Main problem today is getting intel on what is accually floating around behind the cloak, because its a big difference between a bomber and a rapier.
Sometimes somebody gets intell, some times not.

This problem you dont have with the basic cloacks, because people has to decloak to warp. and thus giving enough room to get intell.
So by adding a timer on the covert ops, gives some room of getting to know your enemy. at least the 10 seconds he needs to reactivate.

Further on you get a possibility that the covert pilot misses his timer and we get more to hunt.

Once you undock you are out flying, and the timer will not affect anyone active playing, and discussing a duration that wont affect semi active ones eighter was what i was aiming at.

Any change to the cloak will affect active pilots, especially a timer.

What you gain from this type of change is even more intel. Without any change to the 23.5/7, risk free, instant easy intel you get from local.
If you are truly after balance then the easy no effort intel gained from local should be either nerfed first, or at the same time in a package of changes.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

After thinking about my suggestion for a while, it came to me that my initial wording with "a duration timer" translates wrongly for my intended effect. So my apologies there.

The thing I was after was the effect you see in jettisoned cans. Where they go unstable after a certain amount of time.
This was the duration timer effect I wanted to suggest.
