Alrighty, I have compiled a list of useful stuff from this thread so far:

Bubble warp scram still does not show up on the effects bar.

Additional range to access pos modules.

Total member count in alliance description tab.

Increase jump range needed to take a jump portal (titans and black ops) to 10km.

Complete customization on the horrible drop down menus. As in what I want to be on it and in what order. Ability to bold/italicize/underline and even change the color and size of each individual option in the drop down menus we get.

Allow filtering of the station guest list.

Allow colouring/highlighting of chat entries based on standings or personal whitelist.

Allow colouring/highlighting of chat entries if my name is mentioned

Allow BPOs to be used in POSes from personal hangars (i.e.: for research, copying, manufacture)

I have 24 chat windows. There must be a better way to organise them than stacking into a bar which I can collapse to the bottom or middle of the screen (depending on how the window is feeling at the time).

Allow multiple shared fitting windows to be open at once.

Move login to launcher.

Allow returning to character selection without quitting the game or logging out

Allow skill training queue to be shared by all (three) characters on an account.

Bulk purchases in lp store

Automatically pause and resume skill training when jumping to a jump clone.

Unlock/lock vote for multiple Blueprints at once.

SELL ALL BUTTON!(Mass sell/buy with lists of items as well as conditions for buying/selling... max buy/sell isk amount/percentage)

Hangar Folders (Think corp hangar organization, but in a personal hangar).

Stacked Chat Windows
We need the ability to toggle whether a chat stack can be outright closed, or just minimized. Current behavior is that certain channels (Local, Corp, Alliance, Militia, Incursion, Fleet - LCAMIF hereafter) cannot be closed - only minimized - and any window stacks that contain one or more of these channels cannot be closed either - again, only minimized. This is a very, very useful behavior since the change to the UI that removed the ability for windows to minimize along the bottom of the screen.

However, it exposes an inconsistency within the chat UI, as seen in this imgur album: minimized stacks with an LCAMIF channel in them minimize to a new icon that lists window stacks, but minimized stacks that do not have an LCAMIF channel in them minimize to the Chat item in the Neocom - and it gives no indication which stack they're in.

Please allow us to toggle this "unclosable" behavior on any channel we want (and by extension, stacks) - and remove the inconsistency by having all chat stacks minimize to the icon visible in pictures 2 and 3 from the album. UI consistency is good. UI inconsistency is BAD.

Chat Highlighting Improvements
Chat highlight when someone says your name. It's cool to be able to see your own messages but more useful is the ability to see when someone has said your name (or one of several words/phrases you want to watch for). The ability to set the highlight color for this and other chat highlights from the client settings panel would be very welcome - the default grey color for "highlight my messages" is pretty nearly invisible in many cases, particularly on pinned windows; if they're pinned and you're in a Caldari station, forget about even seeing it. (Also, highlighting the blink on a tab if someone's said your name would be nice too!)

Channel Ownership Limits
Increase the total number of channels a character can own to 15 (from 10). I know most people don't need more than 10, but having to juggle around with alts can be a pain - and the RP community in particular might get some use out of it.

Channel Management
This really could merit a post or even a thread of its own given how many improvements could be made to this interface. The biggest one that is probably the simplest to implement, however, is this: modal windows suck, period. Being unable to interact with the rest of the client while one has the channel management/settings window up is absolutely crippling and a terrible user experience. Please make this interface a non-modal window so that the rest of the client can be interacted with while it is open.

Turret Placement - Heat Efficiency vs Aesthetics
This may not be small, but the ability to have turret placement on ship hulls separate from the slot in the fitting window. On many ships (like the Hurricane or Bhaalgorn for example), the overheating-friendly layout looks absolutely terrible, but the aesthetically-pleasing positioning is horribly heat-inefficient. It would be nice to be able to use heat-efficient placement in the fitting window but still have an aesthetically pleasing positioning for the guns. (Seriously, the Bhaalgorn looks dumb when the guns aren't all grouped together on the two side "wings".)

EVE Gate / Forums:
Mail Indicator Inaccuracy
Make the "mail" indicator display accurately. It currently lights up and counts ingame notifications that cannot be read on EVE Gate. Please make the indicator stop lighting up for ingame notifications that EVE Gate won't display - or better yet, just actually display them - and make it stop lighting up for mails we've already read ingame.

Mail Indicator Behavior
The mail indicator should behave like the notification indicator next to it - click on it and it brings up a dropdown of links to the 5 newest things in your mailbox. (This would also allow you to open these items in a new tab.) We already have a link to our evemail inbox on the page (helpfully labeled "MAIL"). We don't need a second link to the same page that provides no additional functionality.

-Mining must be done in a station if you want optimal results ; POSs would be more attractive if they could refine slower at a higher yield than stations or at least even.
-T3 pilots can't change their subsystems outside of a station

K-Space


-PLEX doesn't have a 100% drop rate when in a ship; With an item so closely related to Real world currency it should be immutable; either consumed for a service or left unused but never destroyed. ( IMO )

Change survey scanner II to be more useful. For example, allow it to signal when ore you are mining will deplete on the next cycle. Also, allow it to be color coded to reflect the ore you are actually mining.

First: Prevent damage to existing functional systems and remove these two things from Crimewatch update before they go out (see thread on that topic for details):

  • T3 not able to eject (totally fine with making them unable to self destruct, but let the pod get out)
  • Ability to be aggressed post-logout if you logged out with no active timers

Second: Items from my previously published rant on the Blog Banter for this topic here. TLDR:

  • Switch characters on same account without full logoff - just take me back to the character selection screen
  • Add to Crimewatch update per Hans Jaagerblitzen's original proposal that sec status can only go below -2.0 for podkills and highsec ganks
  • Optional 1-click restart for PI colonies (can use as is or click-to-restart from colonies window without having to zoom to planet)
  • Let me open containers in a CHA without having to pull them into a ship first
  • Drastically reduce jump clone timers (to ~1 hour?)
  • Toggle switch for "default to on" for modules (ex: I would enable this for Damage Controls)
  • Enable sorting of market by meta level of module rather than alphabetical

Third: I realize this is probably not "little", but for the record I think "firing" drones should be as easy as "firing" a turret from a UI, triggering, etc. perspective. Make button. Press button, do damage (or ECM or repair). Press button again, drones return to bay (or optional toggle - to orbit).

make rigs count as cargo for the purposes of saved fittings (not ship maintenance bays, of course)

fix the bug that randomly causes ghost stacks to persist in the item hangar, usually caused by fitting from saved fits (it can only be fixed by relogging or docking, at least give us a way to reload hangars without that nonsense)

allow ships to be assembled en masse (even if it takes the same amount of time as right clicking and hitting "assemble ship" each time, save us from CTS)

- allow stacks to be divided in one go

- allow rigs to be removed intact if the ship has never been undocked since said rig was added

- allow us to disable that dumb message whenever we create contracts with containers in them

- allow containers to be contracted out of deliveries without the accountant role (seriously, the same role that allows you to untick automatic sov payments is necessary to do something as trivial as contract containers out of deliveries)
