Sansha 10/10 Tanking Help

I've been searching around for tanking answers on the Sansha Centus Assembly T.P. (10/10) plex, to no avail.

I'm seeing that Station Ultima in the final room does 200,000 raw EM damage every 2 minutes from a citadel torpedo. Apparently I need some incredible buffer plus a logi to complete it?

I currently run a solo tengu and can run all other sansha plex's (6/10 through 8/10) just fine with my active tengu. Can a tengu solo this? I read anecdotaly people saying they do it in a Tengu, but I don't see how you can tank that even with sig/speed resist without more buffer.

Thanks for your help!

My Fit:

Highs:
HML II x5

Mids:

Yes a Tengu can solo the 10/10 in fact the 8/10 is harder because of the numerous pointing frigs.

You could use a partial set of crystals to get more boost, It is significant for sure and helps so much. If you want to use your current setup heres my advice.

Certainly upgrade those pesky T2 EM wards and buy some decent A type Wards. Id also suggest upgrading the shield boost amp to a good deadspace version. Im unsure on the rigs your using? 2xT2 cap control with a t1 rigor will put you cap stable as well as the rigor making frigs less work.

I know Its costly but your plexing, youll earn the isk back in no time at all. The torp yes it does hurt, maybe 50% of your shields with current setup.

If it was me personally what I would do is this [from alot of experience]

Again drop the T2 Wards for 3 x A type Wards, drop the invul all together and replace with a republic fleet 10mn after burner so you negate some of the incoming DPS with speed sig tanking.

If you can afford it, get some low grade crystals Alpha through Epsilon should put you on 2059 DPS Tank 847 Rep every 3.2 seconds all stable.

Thanks for the tip. I dropped the invuln for an AB and swapped two of my lows to Power Diagnostics and I was able to tank the whole thing just fine. (I probably could have done it with just swapping the Invuln for the AB, too.

When I first landed (26km from the station), I overheated my EM hardeners and took an initial hit of 3,100 from the torpedo. Once I had my AB active, even when webbed, I never dropped below 85% shields.

Appreciate your tips!

You can actually tank this in a duel rep t2 armor fit vaga with an ab.. 2 reps 2 em one therm hardner and rig with 2 nano pumps, fit mids for cap recharge and an ab and you are good to go.. dont sit still of course but you can burn all over with no issues and it is much cheaper then fit the tengu for deeps

If you have an alt that can fly a Loki with good Armor tanking abilities...

With proper subsystems and skill you can get 97% EM and 96% Thermic resistance, 2x Deadspace Medium Repair Mods and 1800mm plate. A lot of tank. I've tanked 10/10 with this before bringing DPS yourself or friends...

Ofcourse, this would have no dps but a few SB's to kill the frigates scrambling you...

My personal favourite is to send a tengu in as tank no local rep

Alt in Dominix w/sentries and 3 x large shield transfers [curators] assign to other toon on assist and let rip. Something like 1200 DPS there.

This setup owns any plex, The tank on the tengu never drops....ever. You also dont need to keep going from one toon to another targeting as the assigned drones shoot what you shoot.

Under retribution this method will end :( sad face so that's the time for 2 RR tengus with fury mjols.

I recently did a Sansha 10/10 and was worrying about losing my Tengu after reading various posts about that station. But like you it was no problem. I just ran a 5 launcher Tengu with a DG large booster and 2x EM wards (T2).

I did have siege links running though, but it tanked it no sweat at all.
