I really hope you will succeed with renting out Fountain, and I also hope we will have a lot of direct worholes there in the future, so we will have the chance to meet with the new renters.

I'm not personally involved but I hear that [nofks] is doing pretty well. A new bonus that was recently added is access to our buy & sell forum at forum.pleaseignore.com. Many hot deals go up for sale there daily.

Edit: as a reminder, the only people you are 100% safe dealing with are TEST diplomats (look at our alliance description for a list) and Dirk Action.

Taraxon believes renting is a scam, however others may have different opinions. Don't be swayed by the opinion of one.

Now, those of you that are in corporations or individuals that would like to enter nullsec with a bit more security and foreknowledge of the space (intel/jumpbridge network) and are willing to flip a small price to basically traipse in the theme park that is Fountain can do so with a monthly rental fee.

TEST Alliance has set forth the rental program for several reasons, but as HUN guys have said: it's pretty much just an isk making region for our alliance anyway, why not let others come have fun also and get an honest taste of what nullsec is. It's not highsec or lowsec, we own the sov and station access ourselves, and if someone is in our systems that aren't supposed to be we will actively hunt them down. Increased risk = Increased Reward, such as CCP designed the game.

Players like myself have been actively (and legitimately) seeking individuals and corporations to join our rental program because we get a cut of the first months rent. Plain and simple, that's starting at 1.5B per corporation (much more reliable isk than a scam) and for some of us we get to know we're helping fund the alliance that helps make our gameplay enjoyable.

Players like myself will be more than willing to explain the more intricate rules and how the program works, it's pretty simple once we get a sit down. Then we'll normally hand you off to the 2 rental directors listed in the alliance description and they finish the transaction. No isk should ever be exchanged between any one individual unless it's those 2 listed in the description and even then I believe they have renters deposit the isk directly into the holding corp wallet of the rental alliance.

All of our members treat our renters the same as full alliance members: we're not allowed to scam or treat you ill in any way once you're in the program. You become honorary brosefs and some of our guys have even started training newer rental members in the fine art of nullsec survival and isk making. Some of our more trendy members have also talked about letting renters share in some of our alliance/coalition only services including shipping and our wtb/wts market forums. In honest TEST wants to revolutionize the way renting space is viewed in Eve, trend away from the lord/servant bull and progress toward a more positive service oriented idea.

If you have any questions, feel free to convo me or any one of the diplomats for more information. If someone asks for isk that isn't a Renter Diplo then you should beware of a very possible scam.

Incredibly enough, there are people still trying this scam. Like there are any more players left in eve that dont know yet that TEST ALLIANCE and GOONSWARMS are alliances where scamming is not only allowed but required.

Hey guys,
Just mooved in fountain, what i can tell you 4 sure is thats no scam if you talk to the diplomats. About NPC sov space didnt got there yet.....i hear the huns are there haven't see much of them yet just a couple of, doing some pointless things in bombers rapiers and such things, looking forward to meet em as we're natural enemies, but i'm sure they're great ppl and im looking forward to have a bit of fun with em.
To all carebears out there: Trust me no 0.0 space is 100% safe, who tells you this is lying 4 sure.

For thr record, scamming is allowed in the world of Eve, if CCP didn't wanted there they woulda removed it from the game. ( i dunt like scammers also so....) but that doesnt mean that everyone is a scammer, and test allaince is no more no less the same thing like other alliances, in scamming stuff i mean.
For the other thing, renting buisniss. Again to all the carebears out there: Who is renting you space is not seeking for your profit and welth, but their own, and its up to you to make your path profitable as a renter, dunt expect anyone to baby sit you while you farm with bots.......recentlly i was verry amaized when i found 2 shadow serpentis wrecks with loot still inside (valuable one), or when i see on local people (renters) witch are paying isk to the neuts to leave em alone (funny thing and i see it first time in game in 5 years). So conclusion of this post, Fountain is not "i'm getting rich" button. There are neuts on local and if you dont know your way arround in pvp matters (and as a 0.0 renter you should) you gonna loose your precious ship ( your pod aswell along with your precious +5 implants and missile hardwiring).

PS : I'm not a test alliance member, nor goonswarm, never was........

The easiest thing to do is not rent in the first place. Renting is a scam. TEST and the Goonies are not going to save you from the neutrals in the space you are renting. What they will do is relieve you of the ships you store in THEIR stations and the ISK you give them to "rent". This is the truth and not trolling.

I agree, scamming is allowed. In fact, I agree with the mechanic. But to say that renting is legit (especially from the Goonies and TEST) is just crazy.

In Eve the safe thing to do (because of the game mechanics) is to trust no one and assume they are scammers. If one is doing anything else, then one is doing it wrong.

Well i agree with your point of view.......but not only test and goons are renting......and yea i agree renting its not perfect situation but some ppl agree with it so...its their isk and everyone plays how they see fit for them....not for others.
Oh and for the record, renting its not illegit, otherwise concord woulda stop it.....its lets say some people doing buisniss in this way.......or whatever u wanna call it but it's not illegit (not against EULA anyhow).

PS: A renter safehaven will be boring anyhow so i like neuts on local......alot

lustina you have missed my point. I do not disagree with scamming or any other Eve mechanic. I am happy that TEST and the Goons can do this. This is one of the things that makes us all wnat to play Eve. However, unlike RL one does not have recourse to enforce justice when one has been scammed. TEST and the Goons are unstoppable in any fight. So why would I want to pay 1-3B ISK and lose some ships/mods when I know they are going to just take them. It makes no sense. Of course this level of shortsightedness is what I would expect from corporations run by children. They like the chaos that scamming brings rather than making the ISK that long term renting could provide. And I don't blame them. They mine their space without a care and rat it the same way. They don't need rental income to stay afloat. It probably is more fun the watch some noob lose a life's work in 15 minutes because they trusted a low-sec corp.

Given the nature of Eve and the the concept that they only way to rent is to "trust" someone who you have never really met and who has more force that you do, then I would say that your going to lose on that.

You are going to lose your rental ISK, your ships, and everything in THEIR station and just for fun, they will pod you on the way out.

But go ahead and keep believing differently. They run on carebear tears and not ISK.

You seem pretty sure of your claim that we're scamming and not renting. Perhaps you should talk to some of our happy renters in NOFKS and find out the truth, instead of just spewing the same useless drivel every time you post.

I enjoy how this is a rental post for TEST Alliance... And somewhere in there Goons is magically included.

TEST is very much it's own identity.

Because of TEST's circumstances we've opened boarders for renting. Take it as you like, but this ones legit. I'm also not sure or not if Goons have a legit renting program, as last I looked OTEC was making them loads of isk and still very much is. Feel free to contact a Goon and arrange a rental agreement though them and let me know how it goes (lol).

This is all very confusing...I thought Goons and Jr Goons were against "Renting"? Treating people like second class citizens? Only big, bad Alliances like -A- rent right? Oops


I can understand attempting to fill the void that is 0.0, but are there really that many foolish people out there?

Sepentis are the most dummest rats in all eve
xxPizzaxx people just made their apearence thinking renters are afraid of their tiny bombers
The huns well.....looks like they are too buisy in serpentis prime.....v rarelly have seen them out.

This is just a statement of facts, dunt want to praise TEST or to say something other.
And funniest thing of all , i heard test is not renting anymoar in fountain......is it true?
