Used a Gallente shuttle after a while- and oh no! They changed the texture while I slept! I used to love the orange-yellow colour scheme. It was also my daughter's favourite Eve ship (probably because of the colour) since she was age 2.

I am heartbroken. It looks pathetic now....

I presume that there is no hope of getting the old look back?

It was actually never supposed to be orange in the first place. It will be missed in any case.

It is unlikely to change back. I liked the old yellow one too. I think what they did is that they changed to the faction's color palette. So Gallente shuttle got greenish, to go along with the greenish noob ships, etc. They'll be using that same yellow for the new frigate mining barge, so perhaps you can talk your daughter into a new favorite and get some mining out of her as well.

Hmmmm. I understand about the racial colour palette and why it probably need to be changed. In fact when I started Eve, I found the shuttle pretty odd/out of place initially because of the colour- but I suppose you get used to everything.

About the new yellow frig mining ship and my daughter, I love your idea Reticle! Unfortunately she's shown no interest in actually playing the game. Though, it should be interesting to note whether she likes the new ship or not :)

Must have been sleeping! Though I read all the patch notes, I do not specifically remember reading about any changes in shuttles...

In recent years I use frigates instead of shuttles for AP travel- thus used the gallente shuttle after at least a year or so...

Wow. I really prefer the "new" color. I found the yellow odd before, and never really liked this shuttle because of this ; now it's perfect !

Didn't other gal ships used to be yellow as well? I was under the impression that the shuttle was simply the last one to change over.

Also, if you have the isk, Interbus shuttles are the same model and still yellow. :)

iirc the Vexor had some yellowish panels.

The interbus shuttle is actually more yellow than the old gallente shuttle. They're about 400m a piece currently, and probably primary gank targets :)

I miss the old one but after a period of mourning this new one will grow on me. I like Gallente green.

Yes! My daughter just found out that they changed the shuttle and now wants me to get an interbus shuttle, which (I'm trying to explain to her) may not be worth 380m!
