I'm looking for the system in highsec that is approximately in the 'center' of highsec space. Not the geographic middle but the place where the distance to the furthest highsec system is minimized.

I'd like to station a clone there for events. Who has an idea ?

Thanks, I found the thread.

Also this old thread

Average distance between systems within secure space is 18.98 jumps. (By secure I mean the systems accessable by high security only routes.) The most central system in this category is still Kaaputenen with an average of 12.53 jumps.

Average distance between systems within empire space is 20.06 jumps. (By empire I mean high and low sec, but excluding null sec.) The most central system in this category is Amarr with an average distance of 13.36 jumps.
Kaaputenen has an average of 14.06 jumps.

It seems that Kaaputenen is the best system for quick response to any system in EVE with an average of 26.54 jumps to get to any system.

EDIT : These 2007 numbers are before Black Rise addition so not accurate but the highsec one is so that's good enough for me :P
