[BWGRD] Black Watch Guard - 1st year of Operations

Who are we? BWGRD is a small, dedicated group of Warriors who exist for one reason, defence of the Amarr Empire. Our background is one born of battle. The Senior Leadership Group (SLG) of BWGRD are now, and will always remain, Amarrian. We were once part of a loyalist Corporation known as PIE Inc. Whilst fighting with pride and honour under PIE, we saw the ability to conduct operations in a different, more asymmetric manner. Thus, BWGRD was born. Since then, we have grown in numbers. Our Corporation now consists of dedicated, loyal personnel from all races within new eden.

Today marks 1 year since BWGRD’s inception. I was not the Commanding Officer of BWGRD when she was raised. That honour was bestowed upon my dear and loyal friend, Knight Captain Dante Chance, who is currently on temporary duty elsewhere. His leadership, vision and dedication to the Empire, and the Corp, have helped us to become the small, battle focused Corporation that we are today. It is my plan to continue to build on his vision and to ensure the protection of the Empire for as long as we are needed.

To our enemies, know this: We are coming. Many of you, we have met many times. On some occasions, we have bested you. On others, you have bested us. Our resolve will not be questioned. Our loyalty is unwavering. If you challenge the Empire or it’s people, we will find you.

To our friends and allies: Thank you. Your dedication and support in this first year has been essential in assisting us to establish and maintain a foothold in space. I am not going to name any individuals, as to do so would diminish those whom I may not mention. Those who have supported us this past year know who they are.

Finally, to the men and women of BWGRD: Enjoy yourselves. You have earned a drink. But know this: Keep Watch Guardsmen – for you and those like you, are all that stand between The Empire and total chaos.

Congratulations from all cohorts of the Praetorian Guard. This first year anniversary of the Black Watch Guard is a shining beacon of light in the dark times the Amarr Militia has to abide.

Many have followed the developments in the Bleak Lands, Devoid, Heimatar and Metropolis in the last months and asked themselves: Where are the faithful crusaders? Who of the righteous are left to fulfill our holy task of reclaiming what is ours? They might have asked why a questionable clique forces such as Nulli Secunda conquered our systems, inspired by greed, not by divine aspiration. I know that the Black Watch Guard has always been there to defend our systems and our faith. God is testing us, and we shall not fail, for the sinner will be reduced to nothing.

The Praetorian Guard is preparing to conduct operations once again in the warzone against the Minmatar Militia. Let’s meet to align our forces. The Praetorian Guard trusts her back any day to the faithful forces of The Black Watch.

For now, have that good drink and keep an eye on your back for traitors, heathens, heretics and terrorists in both the Amarr and Minmatar Militia

I tend to eschew the more... zealous... of my militia brothers. That said, the black watch guard get out of their stations and fight. That earns my respect.

To another year of the Black watch guard ladies and gents, and when we've carved some space back for ourselves maybe we can discuss all this righteous purging. I have family on some of those planets don't you know.

As my first comment in many months I see it fit for a well earned congratulations.

While I have retired from active military service with the 24th, I do remember fighting with you and am honored to have done so.
