Before I get flamed into oblivion understand this is only because of the many post regarding hi sec, I want null sec dwellers to be the ultra ultra ultimate beyond trillionaires I really do, If there was NPC stations through out 0.0 in EVERY corner of Null then you would have a wal-mart in every corner and a Starbucks to go with it giving up SOV means you're corp/alliance keeps all that isk from 0.0 and only the strong man holds sway over that piece of real estate AND make Titans dockable. I may be completely clueless on how SOV mechanics work but hey its what I think will help 0.0 folks become so rich that devs would have a hard time adding additional zero's to wallet and if anybody can dock anywhere imagine the PVP that would happen then it would be happy happy time again for all of 0.0. My new quote shall be (MAKE TITANS DOCKABLE) oh and lets not forget missions lvl 5 in stations too, I want null sec dwellers to be the most richest hedonistic pilots in the game...for real, please devs even let them keep SOV. Please understand I want your broken part of the game fixed so don't hate on me I am all for 0.0 being a Saudi Arabia. Oh almost forgot also add a ship the size of an obelisk that they can go to roids and "scoop to cargo" since it would be massive enough. Im not kidding or trolling I want you guys to have it all.

I think some of your post its a little unclear but if i understand you you want no sov.

The point of Sov is its a flag and a target for people to fight over.

The problem is the target is too god dam painful.

I like the idea of no sov and people being able to do what they want within there little system. But to live in null sec you need to be of a certain character. e.g. You can not just run dock and wait for the timers to hit and hopefully get a defence fleet up.

what i would regard as a completely entertaining null sec is having certain targetrs that give certain bonuses - e.g. to get the best out of your system requires 5 industrials modules that have a medium HP and are anchored in space (not a damn pos) these said targets would hopefully be the catalist for the defenders to actually come and defend. E.g. 5 x 1 complexes that when destroyed lower the upgrade level. these complexes are either medium to highly expensive so that it means people will feel a loss when destroyed and avoids tick tocking anchoring modules or the complex is relatively cheap and takes a long time to anchor. Other rules could apply where once a module is destroyed you can not kill another for 3 hours.

What i am attempting here is that it is well documented that fights in null sec are very often driven by reinforcing something with the intention of having a good fight 2 days later. this is fine but what do we do if we want the instant fight now... there isn't really any mechanic that supports this.

Downfall would be that his is tied to time zone. e.g.

Attacker kills said targets at off-peak time for defender.

But we want to kill things and ruin someones day that don't take an age to reinforce. Its almost like we need two levels of "terriotory beacons"... the big stuff that protects people assets -> stations, POS, I-hubs, cyno gen, jammer..... and then the targets; the small stuff where the reasons for defending the targets will instantly reward you im talking about the system upgrades.

Either way, my two cents is this. You have to work to take over someone territory, but at the same time you have to incentivise people to want to go ruin someones day.

SOV is us building space castles.

As it stands, our income on an alliance level is worth it and our ability to cash in (even in the south without tech or the eastern drone lands) you still are bringing in a ton of isk on an alliance level. However, for the individual member they are lacking.

See, prices have gone up. Ships, PLEX modules... you get the idea. In null sec we're supposed to be enjoying war and combat.

With the inflation, null sec income has gone untouched. Bounty has remained the same and deadspace module prices dropped with the introduction of new ones (not necessarily a bad thing, just another modification in potential income).

Null sec dwellers need a way where their income adjusts with the economy that doesn't introduce a new isk faucet.


This is why I suggest we remove meta 4 items from Empire which would solve this and increase our income.

Features & Ideas really don't belong in General Discussion, we have a separate forum for this.

Also, you may want to word your post a little more constructively and give a breakdown of features you'd like to see when you post there.
