We are looking at getting extra % bonuses at every corner to become that little better.
If we had the ability to hard fit modules or construct ships with modules to get a few extra % I know I would do that.

Idea 1)
When constructing a ship with a BPO/BPC have the ability to combine it with a second BPO/BPC of a module such as an afterburner. When the ship is constructed it now as a permanently fitted module. These Modules would be limited to Factoin/T2/T1 modules from LP stoes, Invention, or standard BPO.

These modules would get bonuses similar to overheating modules but with none of the overheating damages. As these modules are built into the ship there is no way to remove them making this ship more dedicated to its purpose. Limiting also to only a single module you would be unable to design a ship with a rack of guns with bonuses.

By having modules built with the ships the manufacturing is seamless giving perfect performance for these modules.

Idea 2)
Have the ability to "Riger-fy" any module. Like rigs, if you riger-fy your module you will then never be able to reclaim it. To remove it you must destroy it. The bonuses you get on these modules would not be as strong as an overheated module but would get you an extra 5% or so. enough to make it worth it. not enough it an over balance. (T1 rigged vs t2 unrigged)

Having modules rigged give better performance but not quite seamless.

This just encourages more homogenization of various ship fits (see: "cookie cutter fits") and gives people with the necessary resources (see: large alliances) a greater advantage over the solo and small groups out there.
