Hi, I'm playing eve for awhile, and as a visual impaired player some of the icons on the HUB aren't very accessible to me.

Cloaking device ;
When activated the mist that flashes over the icon isn't visable to me. I have to go within 5cm of the screen to find out if my cloak is actually activated. already several times I lost a ship because I uncloaked when i was alread acutally cloaked. At some point there was a bug in this system for a couple days where the mist was replaced by a white circle around it. That was very clear, but unfortunately got reset again.

ECM:
It's hard for me to see the colors of the different races. Isn't it possible to get a clear A C G or M on the modules to see what race they belong to?

Perhaps put in a petition?

At least you can be sure your concerns will be noted then.

I have no doubt that CCP would be more than willing to do what they can to help any player in your position.

a friend of mine has red–green color blindness; he said that he can barely tell a normal module cycle (green) from a cancelled one (red). it should probably be one of the things to get fixed, seeing as how up to 6% of the male population has this anomaly.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I really, really hope you were being sarcastic...

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

That could so easily be fixed by just having the module when it's deactivated immediately go counterclockwise.

let's see it as a bar from 0 to 100, if it's at 20% into a cycle the bar from 0 to 20 is green and rest empty. And it fills up up up till 100, then next cycle. Now when you deactivate and it immediately switches, the part between 80 and 100 is red and rest empty and it goes down down down till 0, till it's deactivated.

i think it would be easier and less intrusive to change the color to blue or dark brown or sth. you could also change the thickness of the line or w/e. other games already have these features so it can't be that hard.

I should buy an Ishtar.

The green glow of the module can be hard to distinguish in some areas of space, and find myself often doublechecking that the cloak really is on.

So yeah, I support improvements (they would help all of us) and like you mentioned, the way it was for a short time was perfect.

I think ccp did this to make it harder for bots to do image recognition. Today it isnt easy (but possible) for a bot to check, if a module is active or not.
