Hello

I was thinking about flipping some unsuspecting miners cans, then maybe i could trick him to attack me. Now here is the question:

- If i get attacked with my nub character, but i have more experienced character in fleet with me on some planet waiting, can the experienced character warp in and attack the miner? I'm talking about high sec stuff.

If you are flipping the can then no. Not unless the other player attacks that character. Now if you are both in the same player corporation and they steal from you then yes as it's corp aggression.

Note: You cannot grief people in rookie systems as that is a petitionable offense.

Ok so, if bob is mineing ore and putting it in can then i come and steal from bobs can. Then bob can shoot me, if bob shoots me i have right to shoot back, but does my fleet member that is some where else in the system have the right to shoot bob if he warps to me?

If you steal from Bob's can and he shoots you only the pilot he shot can return fire.

Dude!

How did you manage to get to get a 'frozen corpse' as your toon?

Be aware that come December 4th, when you steal from someone's can, /everyone/ will be allowed to shoot you. (and take anything from your cans without you gaining the right to shoot them)

You'll be able to return fire, of course. But they need to shoot first.

This is all kinda academic since the barge changes there are no more characters can mining - but assuming you find one - the trick to getting your more experienced toon aggro is to use logistics - and hope they attack him too. But ofc this is also going to change soon.

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

Hulk pilots are still can-mining, admittedly they generally have orca support so you'll have to hope that the orca pilot is having a snooze

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
