Doesn't CCP realize this is making it almost impossible to mine Ice?

I have already lost TWO MACKINAWS!!!

I'm only posting on an alt so i don't get hunted down and killed AGAIN.

I am so tired of this.

How are we supposed to mine like this?

Solitude if you want Gallente Ice or you can just change Regions and mine some other Ice or you can mine minerals for awhile and switch back when they get bored.

You could also watch local , and not mine AFK.

Posting an alt won't save you, if you're in an ice belt you are fair game for both ganking & bumping. I thought that everybody had gotten the memo, it's open season on ice miners Pirate

See, there's the problem. That's assuming reason is involved. That's assuming people learn from their mistakes.

Using a weapon as a deterrent in a diplomatic situation is only viable when you have proven that you have deployed it in the past and are willing to use it in the future.

What ice interdiction?

Seriously, I was semi-AFK in a belt in Chelien for hours yesterday. I didn't see a single wreck or any tears shed in local (at least when I was checking).

Is there something going on? Should I not be doing that?

Nothing. If you want something done, you must fo it yourself, or hire someone to do it for you. Just because it is a sandbox, does not mean your nose will be wiped for you. Learn to tank and learn to live in hisec like its losec.

I hope that clears it up a bit more. However, if you'd really like a better idea, might I suggest that you'd instead avoid mining in the gallente ice belts for the time being? It is the most sensible solution to your predicament and would truly be a foolproof method to avoiding out gaze.

That's the problem Touval P, afk ice miners have no brain input, they lock the icicles hit the f keys and go do something else. And they wonder why they end up in a pod or 50km from the nearest ice.

learn how to tank your mack that third lowslot is not there for another MLU , second don't go afk 95% of all gank attempts can be avoided when you are at the keyboard

to be honest that you got ganked is your own fault , you have the tools to tank your ship now but most importantly that large ore bay was not intended to let people AFK mine
