Original EVE login screen

Does anyone have a HD video of the original Eve login screen? The one with the hologram EVE letters flickering away. It looked awesome!

Hm, no, that's a shiny chrome one. This was more like a hologram and it flickered. You can see a blurry offscreen shot of it in the Behind the Scenes video here at 10:10:

Been a while since I have seen that old login screen - brings back some memories Big smile. Makes me remember trying to login the very first day the game went live =) I think I still have the old boxed game somewhere on CD..

It'd be awesome if all the old login screen were reimplemented for Eve's 10th birthday. (Just throwing that out there CCP Cool)

I just saw a video on youtube with game play from days long since past. I gotta say, the "holo overview" thing looked awesome.

I'm not a fan of the radar with the circles and the lines. I'd love the option to just pop that up instead. or use both.

Hey, remember when EVE had cool log-in screens and cool log-in screen music? I do. It was like two years ago. And since then, like the expansions they were created for, they have been terrible.

(like, what the hell was the Incursion screen about? A giant turd floating in space, really)

CCP mostly sucks at their job, but Veritas is a pretty cool dude.

Well the new one is to show off the new turrets... it's OK...

I liked the Tyranis login screen a lot... Red Moon Rising was cool too...

Actually for the 10th anniversary, they should rotate out the login screen at intervals for all the past login screens they've had over the years. Every time you log in, you get a different one of the various login screens...that would be awesome....

Hell yah.

Seriously CCP needs to take a look back at all the really kewl stuff they've done over the years and find ways to get some of that stuff that isn't around anymore back into the game. The game is pretty awesome as it is now, but some of the old awesome would make it even more awesome.

Some of that footage from the old, old eve in the behind the scenes movie posted up above would really be great to put in.

I want that old warp effect, and some of those missile graphics were pretty win.

...engine trails...one of the things I thought was so awesome when I started playing, flying a rifter around and having these totally awesome trails behind me gave a lot of wow factor to the game...epic rifter is epic...
