You can end up waiting up to an hour or two depending on various factors, such as method of payment, if it was your first time making that kind of purchase and whether or not your own bank might consider it a "dodgy" payment and withhold the funds. Patience is key here. Big smile

Wait 1 hour, then it magically appears in redemption menu. Its voodoo or something.

Edit: Or, you can use the step youve just taken and run straight to the forums.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Some people buy PLEXes ten at a time, others dissolve vitamins in $.25 cup-noodles bowls for dinner. Sure is a nice world we live in.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

^ Then there is your world, where you do neither of those, but come to a game forum and whine all the time.

No, I'm pretty sure I belong squarely to the second category.

You have just inspired me.
I am going to go out and waste as much money as I feel like tonight.

And yet you somehow manage to find the funds for an Internet Spaceships game. My pity level is steadily declining.

Unless, of course, you're playing on a stolen computer using hijacked wifi to connect to the internet. c/d?

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Uh, until like 6 months ago, I was still using a P4C and an ATI 3600.

Also, EVE is pretty cheap (when it's not free, and it usually is!) compared to things like health insurance, which I don't have. If I get hurt/sick tomorrow, I'll have to live with it or die because of it.

Health insurance can also be free (in the US) if you meet certain qualifications. So can food. Still not feeling the pity.

None of those things apply to me. You'll just have to take my word for that, based on the fact that I'm not getting welfare checks/food stamps/medicaid. Food you can get, yes, but that's the one thing I have access to anyway.

I think the point is that it really sucks to be a grad post-2010. By some counts, the unemployment rate for that group is above fifty percent. And it's even worse when I see what few employed friends I have get laid off because management wants a bigger bonus.

So yeah, when I see people dropping hundreds of dollars on video game money, it gives me a sad. Sad

There's more people wanting those jobs. I'm familiar with this logic. Some people defend the system right up to the point when they get laid off. Then they're the ones on the streets with picket signs.

You know this whole jobs talk is a nice allegory for the problems with null-sec right now. We should probably take the conversation in that direction and see how long it takes for ISD to lock the thread.
