Not a troll. I legit want to learn both sides of the game. Multi account mining, is getting old and expensive. I'd rather learn to fly my rohk properly, and eventually fly a carrier or dread

Find a good corporation in a decent alliance. Take your time, it's worth it in the end.

The last thing you want to do is make a rush decision and join someone where you don't fit in or don't have fun.

My advice? If you see the name of any alliance you're looking to join used in the same sentence as "CTA," steer clear.

If they were a thief they could just go into the recruitment channel and be in gullible corp in 5 minutes.

You really do need to get into a big alliance if you want to go into nullsec. You need to take your time choosing who you want to join, and there are a few things to take into account when looking.

- What kind of fleet doctrine do they use? Armor or shields, battleships of BCs. Make sure your going to be able to take part in their fleets, otherwise you are going to be very bored.

- Make sure they have a ship replacement program. Without one of those your PvP losses will quickly send a new player back to highsec to make up for your losses, which will put a serious dampner on your nullsec experience.

- Make sure they're new pilot friendly, and make sure they will help you get down to nullsec. Getting there on your own without help is a very frustrating experience for a new player.

- Make sure you can buy stuff down there, or they are able to move some of your stuff down for you. NEVER contract them your stuff before you get into a corp

- Also, avoid alliances that are "renting"space in nullsec. Their space is often poorly defended, and if they couldn't take the space in the first place they probably wont be there long.

I hope this helps.

Mandatory CTA is the thing to avoid.
Stay away from alliances that use loop hole catch terms like J4G too.

To be completely honest, if you want to learn about nullsec, have a good time in it, and are new, there is no better option than Goonswarm or TEST. Both alliances also tend to win their wars, unlike pretty much everyone else in EVE, heh.

Confirming that shiptoasting in GD is the way to prove nullbears won't "let you into their club".

So long as you don't get eaten by recruitment scams, I guess.

Yeah, I'm not aware of any other truly newbie-friendly entity in 0.0.

Goons and TEST both are pretty clear on how to join and not get scammed if you spend 2 minutes actually reading info on their own websites.

They're both really good for new players and would advise joining either.

Yeah, but in both cases you'll be surrounded by people from Reddit or Something Awful both hilariously horrible in their own way. I'd rather kill myself honestly.

are you kidding? You couldn't be worse at trolling. You post a thread about wanting to live in nullsec in GD section, knowing that it would get flammed since you are not even in the right section and then try and make that look like we are just being mean to you and wont let you in our super secret club...

Its so ******* easy to get in nullsec. Go to the recruitment section asshat, there are like 10 threads on the front page for 0.0 corps.

FC, what do?
