Casino games are random.

I'm not butt hurt by lack of sites, but I was not aware they work like wormhole sites.

Based on my limited experience in W-space and from corp mates, there is actually a set number of sites per constelation that are distributed randomly throughout each system. As one is done, it despawns and respawns in another system once someone scans it down and warps to it. Once it's done there, rinse and repeat. It techinically does not exist in the actual code until someone warps to it. Same as a WH gate. If you are getting dry spells of sites in an area, It's only because no one has done them to cause a despawn and respawn cycle on that site. It's going to dry for about a week or 2 and then you'll have like 15+ out of nowhere. That is of course someone else is doing the same thing as you else where in the same constellation.

This is my understanding of it all and it makes sense to me. I could be completely wrong though.

Very nice. That means I broke 10k likes and 100M SP within maybe 15 minutes of each other.

I wish jerks would go in the game and leave the forums because you ruin perfectly decent topics.

I am posting about something that is indeed very real, based on factual findings. This is not based on 1 days exploring niether this is 4 ish days of an entire region being dry.

In my opinion it is improbable that close to 25 systems be dry of sites for 4 days straight.

If indeed it is a bug as CCP Goliath states it could be then it needs looking into now.

You don't seem to understand what anecdotal means. One person's perception of a problem is always anecdotal no matter how unlikely something is to happen to them due to chance, because at the end of the day they're just one person. If you were to record actual quantifiable and objective numbers from before and after the latest patches for many many people, then it wouldn't be anecdotal.

You don't know how "very real" something is just because of your personal experience. You say its improbable, well... very very unlikely things occur all the time. That's just how life works. Maths.

Lets use an example. There is a 1 in 700,000 chance of a women giving birth to quadruplets. That's very very rare. But there are 130,000,000 births each year, so your very very rare quadruplets are born 190 times each year. Now that's just one unlikely event, imagine how many events there are with a 1 in 700,000 chance of happening. These things probably happen every second of every day. So you think its unlikely for this to happen to you, and it probably is, but it has to happen to someone. Don't be so naive.

And there is no need to insult me over a friendly quip.

Nah. EVEBoard puts me at 2,337.31 SP/h average — that's far too high to maintain any degree of bitterness, and they're even fixing the UnInventory.

You are getting scoffed at because every time there has been a patch for years someone always starts a silly topic like this and complains about spawn rates of belt rats/anoms/nanoribbons/invention succesees/misses/hits/luck with the ladies.

You are seeing a correlation of bad RNG luck combined with a specific event in time and claiming they are linked. That is your human brain trying to find a pattern of something to make sense.

While I am deeply sorry you do not understand game theory or rules of large numbers suffice it to say that my nullbearing has not taken a hit of any kind in regards to getting escalations/finding anoms/scanning sigs/inventing/nanoribbon salvage/luck with the ladies. I must therefore conclude that nothing has happened since the pattern I see is consistent, and there is no correlating event.

But lemme tell ya, on my birthday when I got totally hammered it seemed my luck with the ladies went WAAAAAY down, so therefore getting patched to version 30 messed up my gameplay experience and I demand CCP fix it.

Yes. The patch (boozin it up) wrecked my drop rates (of ladies small clothes). CCP is obviously stealth nerfing my gameplay experience. Abloo bloo bloo.

Things go all wobbly for a while, it will often cause a bit of a headache the morning after, and it can be really fun to watch from the outside…

…seems apt.

Also, I just realised that at this rate, Tippia will be done in a year. What the hell am I going to do then?! Ugh
