I am thinking about Dominix but this is so ugly. Probably the ugliest one in the universe, isn't it? Smile

Thanks for all the responses. I would be glad if you could share some more knowledge with me.

Ugly ships are always the best, just look at typhoon.

And what's Typhoon good for?

About 2 months ago, some friends of mine invited me to go on a 'Drone Roam' with them. They all had drone boats, (Ishtar, Curse, Pilgrim, Arbitrator, Domi), although the majority was Arbitrators, with Curses pulling in second. We did some spider tanking (each ship with 1x repper for healing others), although not everyone had them.

There were a grand total of 14 of us, and to be honest, it was one of the most fun roams I have ever done. The corp we had the war deck with was active, so we encountered several fights. Between the drone swarm, the webs, the neuts, the half-assed group healing, and the TD's, we did so much better than I expected to. There were too many drones for them to easily counter with frigates, we were in high sec for most of it, so they did not risk using smart bombs, and in low sec we did not encounter any with SB's.

We had one guy in a Domi, with all kinds of tank on him that we used as our nucleus and FC, 2 in Ishtars (they switched to arbitrators after they lost a couple), 4 in Curses, 2 Pilgrim, and I think 6 in Arbitrators at the end.

We managed to take down 2 BS, I have no idea how many frigates, AF's, etc, a few BC's, 1 Vargur (got lucky, someone scanned him running missions), several Arbitrators, and a few other assorted.
We lost 1 Domi, 4 Ishtar, 2 Curse, and I don't know how many Arbies (I lost 3 myself, and 1 of the Curses).

It was a very unconventional little week of fights, but fun as all hell. They started it, but I personally feel we 'won' due to the balance of win / loss (to be fair though, they did manage to take down one of our POS's, which was the initial reason for the war deck I believe).

Anyway, just be sure to go in ships that are not too expensive for your budget, work as a team, and have fun with it. Win or lose its fun, and what a good part of the game is about.

P.S.: Seeing swarms of 50+ drones swooping in on some poor webbed / pointed victim is one of the most enjoyable things in the world to watch (unless they are coming your way of course). Be sure to occasionally 'look at' your target to see it happen. ... And don't be drinking when you do. I spit my drink across my keyboard laughing a couple of times. ;(

There is a special Hell for people like that, Right next to child molestors, and people that talk in the theater. ~Firefly

Typhoons are a jack of all trades BS. Fast, mostly armor, has a 5/5 turret / missile hardpoint layout with bonuses to both missiles and guns, large drone bay to accommodate heavy drones + smaller flights, when fit with one weapon type it has 3 high utility slots giving it considerable neut power.

They are commonly fit with 5 Torpedo Launchers, 3 Neuts and Heavy Drones for high dmg.

The uglier the ship, the better it tanks.
The prettier the ship, the harder it shoots.

Is this a newb corp war? Arbitrators, thrashers hawks oh my! To kill those three...anything? Lol. Neut domi is overkill. And this megathron they seem to have? Its buffer tank with blasters. Orbit it at 17 or so km with any faster ship. Shoot til dead, kill drones if needed. Have to fight them all together? Get any dps vessel of your choosing and find two friends in two basilisk or guardian. Ta-da

If budget truly doesn't matter to you, then you should know how to fit a ship without coming to forums to ask for a basic ship like a BS for pvp. Id strongly urge you to start in cheaper ships, or at least normal non factioned ones, eve if you have like 385093 trillion isk, learning how to pvp without dropping billions into a ship is kinda helpful... not even cause of the lossmails but for actually having a clue.

I'd add that your shiny lossmails are pretty encouraging for your opponents, so that's another reason to avoid expencive ships at first.
