I created the first app, style metro, for windows 8. Its a multicharacter and multiaccount app.

All feedback is welcome.

You can download that app in the market store of windows 8.

I still haven't managed to add an account to this, the app just closes on its own.

Am wondering if you may be asking for the legacy api key in the Add Account section? The new api keys have a key ID and a verification code and I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to enter in the big text box either.

Thanks for the efford of making the application though, I'm not a fan of windows 8 for desktop PCs at all but its nice to see some activity regarding eve anyway.

Same for me, it just closes down. Looks interesting anyways and with live tiles could be a nice thing to have on win8.

It is not a different operating system. If you stick to Silverlight and use MVVM you can make an app that runs cleanly on WP7 (7.5+), WP8, and Win8 (x86 and ARM) by just changing the XAML. If you use HTML5, native code or the WinRT runtime then you cut out WP7 but WP8 will still work.

I'm seeing the same thing. Enter the API, hit next, it spins for a while and crashes. Surprised Microsoft let this be published in this condition. They gave me a very hard time with my Windows Phone app when it crashed.
