Mission Payout: Time Contigent Reward Scale

Right now agents pay out in the form of a base reward and a bonus reward.
Players can "AFK Boat" through missions and still get the bonus reward. X
While the rewards are based on a number of factors none of these factors take into account how efficient or rapidly a mission is completed except the standard bonus reward.

Proposal:
Assume that 2 different players are both running 2 the same mission from 2 different agents of the same quality. Both players have the same social skills and both players finish their mission in time to get the bonus. Player 1 finishes the mission 45 mins sooner than player 2 because player 2 was not even at their computer. Player two was using afk boating tactics to finish the mission with minimal effort. Player 1 was using much more effort and so player one should get a given percentage MORE reward than player 2.

Reasoning:
If agents rewarded based on factors like speed or combat effectiveness then this would add a whole new level of interest and value to missions in general. More people would feel motivated to do missions and more people would be motivated to actually participate in the mission at a deeper level then just deploying drones and taking a nap.

I like it! Means aggressive mission runners can make a bit more ISK per hour.

Umm . . . Math to the rescue!!!!

If they finish the mission in half the time they ARE making twice the ISK per hour

I think if CCP is taking such a strong stance against things like botting and afk sanctums they should reward players who are actually playing the game and putting in good effort.

That's because how quickly a mission is completed isn't needed to be taken into account for mission rewards. Someone quickly powering through missions would already be making a lot more ISK/hr than somebody slowly AFK botting them.

Also, it won't actually do much to discourage botting as unless the bonus is negligable people will just multibox botted accounts on the same mission.

I think if nobody likes this idea or pays any attention to it I will not include it in my csm platform. However I feel that at this point in time very few people actually ready this area of the forums.
