Runaway EVE Application Data Cache

Client 1
path - C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility
total files - 187,290
size - 1.59Gb
size on disk - 2.10Gb

Client 2 (Link shelled)
path - C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve2_tranquility
total files - 73,879
size - 672Mb
size on disk - 878Mb

Total for BOTH:
total files - 261,169
size - 2.26Gb
size on disk - 2.98Gb

To CCP:

1) Will we need to upgrade to our computer to petabyte server styled machines to accomodate for the above?

2) Is there anyone at CCP keenly aware of the above - who is either pro-actively thinking about mitigating solutions or is in the midst of such a software project?

3) Does looking at those numbers make my hamsters happy?

Clear cache... but yes - I agree that the cache folder is getting too fat - specially because it is in system drive and you're unable to move it anywhere else.

You could junction it and/or move the entire D&S path, but that can get a bit messy if you do it after the fact.
