I am curious, are certain ices worth more or in higher demand? Is there a certain ice out there that is not worth mining? If I am correct in my understanding each ice has a higher portion of a different mineral. some are more for each different race POS's and others have more Jump goo. Hopefully this isnt too random of a question

The value of Caldari ice is steadily increasing thanks to James 315's hugely succesful campaign for sovereignty in Caldari ice systems.

Think bigger.

The best way to get better profits is find people we are in demand.
Corps with POS's are your best bet.

If you get people willing to buy a certain fuel time from you or a certain product you can increase your isk per hour since your not fighting on the market. Also you can work next to where the buyer wants it delivered and you mine what they are in need of instead of going after ice cycles that change all the time.

You could always mine ore for better isk, then buy ice if you need it. this of course would be temporary, until more and more miners abandon ice for the more lucrative mineral mining.

Step 1, Scan system for all active POS's,

Step 2.
Go to Jita and outright buy desired amount from Sell order.
Step 3.
Take desired amount to system with lots of running POS's
Step 4.
Check for competition.
Step 5. Place 25 days of fuel for each POS type you encounter, If its 10 POS stations 20 Medium POS and 1 Large POS, and taking notes on what type of fuel they use (racial) you could literally just place on market with a % price increase over Jita and forget about it.

Because What do POS owners do first when they need to fuel their Station?
Open market tab, and check current prices!
The Customer noticed the amount of fuel he needs, The perfect amount! at a fair price, not that much over Jita!
What are the chances this guys gonna actually buy?, Pretty High!

Have fun o/ fly safe.

Go to the station where they have a couple of freighter loads of fuel stockpiled?

I'm curious if Poetic Stanza's rumor thread in GD that the Goons are restarting the Gallente ice interdiction will push up that ICE price?

The difference in profit would have to be pretty big before miners give up ice-mining's AFK convenience.

Not sure about the convenience angle, but I'd still need Ice for my POS regardless.
