Popped my haulers brand new Itty V when trying to armor repair it with my miner as a noob. Learned to be careful with mixed flights of logistic and combat drones Lol.

I'm also prone to accidentally buying cheap expensive stuff deep in lowsec. Never got caught getting it out of there though. Wonder if this is a sign that I should leave carebearland for good Twisted.

I tried to move everything I own out of nullsec in a cloaky hauler thinking I would be safe.

Pop, 500m gone, and some very happy pirates..

When I was a noob, I bought a GTC. I had a friend who was further along than me (by maybe 10 months) who had gotten into the game. He had just lost a battleship that he had saved up for, so I used the GTC to get isk and gave him a chunk (yea I'm a good friend).

Flush with all of this isk, I figured i would upgrade my mining setup. I did a bit of mining in my first month until I realized it bored me to tears and my combat skills caught up.

Mind you, I was mining in a myrmidon. Not even a mining barge.

So I decided to get some mining laser upgrades. Saw these nice meta 4's "aoede mining laser upgrade" They were pricy at the time, at 60mil each. But I had all this isk...

until I found I could only buy one, because they were 600mil each!

you are a developer and brought us a lot of mistakes, and will bring mistakes to us like:

nerfing missies and enhancing te/td and then just shortly afterwards letting out the te/td out of the package making the nerf unbalanced.. then the crimewatch not beeing able to eject of t3 anymore and ripping definatly away our skillpoints. but stating that the overpowered t3 are balanced like this and we need to learn eject when the t3 had been introduced....

my stupid mistakes:

never farmed incursons nor fw.

ccp devs: introducing incursions and fw to farm isk like mad....

Paying by annual subscription...possibly.

If CCP do something which really impacts my ability to enjoy Eve just after my annual subscription gets taken, I am jiggered.

On the positive side, I like to think that my annual subscription actually helps CCP's finances.

Forgot three 0's when setting the price on 4 Thon's modified launchers. Can't actually remember if it was the cruise launchers or the siege.

Oh, and was in a hurry to rearm and wasn't paying enough attention to the prices on the market. Ended up paying about 100mil for a fairly small number of tech 2 torps.

my own stupid thing:
being 1 month old n00b, just got skills to scan for signatures. Found my first wormhole, switched ship to Vexor (semi-fitted for lvl1-lvl2 missions) and entered carelessly. Obviously bookmarking exit WH wasn't in my book that days....

When i found that i can't get back to empire i ejected from the ship (!!!) and self-destructed my pod.

Returned to WH in my scan-frigate, found my Vexor. Instead of getting it out started scanning... You know: wormholes are beautiful!

Was found and killed there by incoming gang Shocked

Bought 1 unit of zydrine about 4 years ago in Jita for 250 mil, I am sure I was under the influence of being stupid in Jita, so now I never look in local chat while visiting Jita and never been stupid since.

Playing without sound.

Switching from a passive shield tanked Gila to a active armor tanked Dominix.

Enter mission.

Forget to switch on hardeners and reppers.

Why am I in this pod?

First of all: a mistake is becoming a real mistake when you do it twice. When you do it again and again it's a stupid mistake.

In EVE every mistake will help you to learn and adapt. With nearly 100m SP I am still learning and adapting. The biggest mistake you can do in this game to see yourself as a master eg. in PvP because you are doing it now for years. So you can't be wrong. But then you agree to 1v1 Frig duel, you will learn that there's always a bigger ***, worst of all you will learn that there's always a bigger ass trying to ransom your pod because you thought it's an honored 1v1. You told yourself last time never ever pay a ransom again but to save your low-slave set you'll do it because your brain still made the decision and finally you get podded into deep null-sec because you had forgotten to switch station. Will it ever happen again? Might be if I am again too confident.

And exactly those painful moments are one reason why I can't stop playing the game. Because the challange is: to do better next time.
