More of a question than a suggestion but why doesn't one exist?

You have the fitting window
You have the item menu in the market window

Clone the fitting window, add the item menu to the side and call it the Fitting Tool

It can even check the markets to give an accurate pricing based on the region you're at.

They are already planning something like this; I think it was in the CSM minutes.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.
