So here I am, forum on one side, dropping little snide remarks and giving my favourite pastime some love when I scan down and drop into a WH in my Loki on screen 2.

Bring up "WH" in overview. Check.
d-scan. Check.
Warp to.... Check.

Decloak....

Straight into a camp...

Evaluate... Now!! (come ON brain!!) Threat level... High.... Oh ****.....

Bubbles up... 2 canes and a broadsword I can see in overview. Mouse wheel scrolling in when I'm trying to scroll out.. Wtf, why isn't the Rapier on there!!?

Could I take 'em?? Ya think??!

Heart starts pumpin', knees are shakin', can't hit the PvP overview tab to save my life. Fark, no ammo. wtf... U idiot.....

Did a u-turn and gtfo, bleeding bits of ship all over the universe.... Parked 70km off some random planet, logged and then just sat, sucking in a air like a marathon runner in the Simpson Desert. Deep breaths.. Deep breeeaaaths...... Phew.....

It's been 20 minutes and I'm still riding the andrenalien rush...

You silly sausages, you think it's adrenaline you like? Adrenaline is a horrible poison, it's the cortisone afterwards that people love. It's a fact of modern life that many are attracted to 'action' sports thinking it's adrenaline that lures them, it isn't any chemical, it's being forced into the present, where everything lives and is real, that people love.
Modern people create thousands, millions of false realities to clutter up their heads, the future, the past, neither are real. Even to say they were real is psychosis.
There is no time, only now.

Also, endorphins? Their purpose is to dull the perceptions of someone who has been beaten or run hard into the redline. They're not some source of pleasure, they make you stupid.

Still get the shakes, and sometimes i hate it at the time. I popped a Myrm on the gate a few hrs ago, and as i was watching him melt i look at screen 2 and saw half a dozen ships land on the other side of the gate. I thought...."He was bait, here we go."

It was like such a hit of adrenalin, all i could think of is click the RUN tab and find a safe. My hand was shaking hard and it was pissing me off.

Turned out it was a rag-tag group that, thankfully, had nfi what was happening on my side.

Killed the Myyrm (wasn't going to stick around for the "after dinner pod"), and ran to a safe.

Took a little bit to steady the hand after that.

Love the game.

all this stuff should be checked before jumping into any situation. all i can say is contract your stuffz right over to me it will be easier for you to swallow in the long run.
