STOP NPC ALTS POSTING ON THE FORUMS

Hi

I think the forums, like most people has become a cess pit because people can hide behind *npc* alts and troll post after post making our forums look disgusting and un-moderated.

I STRONGLY suggest an idea that NO NPC alts or NPC chars are even allowed to post on the forums under any circumstances, if a person wants to sell a char, they must make a single corp for it etc.

We need to take a strong stance against the forum trolls and go from there

Also ontop of this, if a corp has less than 10 players in it, they should not be able to post on the forums

If a corp is setup for forum trolling, the corp should be forcibly shut down and the chars removed back into npc corps

We need to, as a game and a community stop NPC alts trolling and flaming people non stop, people should be forced to use there mains and face the repercussions of there actions.

Anyone who disagree's with this, simply uses npc alts to post non stop

So what exactly is your problem with the NPC alts? They are trolling... so what? Just learn to ignore it and focus on the real answers.

So, I disagree to you even though I always use my main character for posting.

My point is that for no reason should a player have to use there NPC alt to post on a thread unless they plan to be insulting or degrading to the OP

This being said, there are other habitual points to it.

Why make alts to troll the forums? Shouldn't you be playing the game?
Why make alts to slam people who make good ideas? Answer?

Our forums are open to the public, if we want more players, we should limit the people who can abuse the forums and make it look like everquest online forums.

This is an example, i made a thread about how i perceive the game in its aspects as i have done pretty much everything.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=162428

The thread was immediately trolled by npc alts and 1 man corps designed to post on the forums

i.e trolling for the purpose of trolling

I second this idea. I mean look at how high quality and pro caod is with these very quidelines in place. NO npc posting, has to be a real corp. The very pinnacle of forum excellence.

from the amount of trolling you can deduce the degree of how stupid your thread is.
if you forbid NPC chars posting, they will create a 1 man corp as you even said and keep trolling with that.

You dont know what NPC stands for do you?

Hmmm... I took a look at it. I think the problem is your writing style. It was so filled with tears and anger, and both are a big troll magnets. I tried to give you a more elaborated - even though short answer to your issues in the above linked thread. I hope you can use it anyhow.

Its an NPC alt so the response should be treated as if it was a respone from an NPC alt. IE, ignore it. However NPC alts, or anonymity does have its place, i hope they dont remove them

This is a hideously bad idea. So I decide to leave a player corporation and go into an NPC corp for a while just to have a break from the drama and politics of alliance life and suddenly I am penalized by not being allowed to post on the forums?

Or I am a brand new player, looking for a place to post questions, but now I can't use the New Player Questions forum?

We all understand that you are, apparently, butthurt. Thicken your damn skin or get off the Internet. Cyberspace is no place for people who take everything personally.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

I didn't know "Non-Player Characters" could post on the forums. What do you have against the AI's? They have feelings to!

So it seems you are proposing disallowing new players from having access to the Official Game Forums? Everyone who joins the game starts in a NPC Corp, and to say they can't have access to fully use the forums or need to create a 'player corp' to have access to this content is asinine. Some people are fine with being members of NPC corporations.

Also, how difficult would you imagine it would be to create an alt 'player corp' for troll alts as a work around? The answer is, it would be simple.

So, what is your plan if I'm an alt of someone who posted in here earlier, but since I'm not in a NPC corp, I still have full access to the forums to trolololololo you into submission...?

Should we ban everyone who upsets you and censor the forums?

Should we just round up everyone and abolish the Free Speech of EVE-O??

Should we give into your sensitivity and become politically correct???

What happens if I advertise my corp to be a safe haven for forum trollers exclusively...?

I will create the Dec Shield of the forum community and we will protect the trolls!!!!!!!

Seriously!

My mission agent gave me an epic arc mission to post here and advocate for agent rights.

Ooo, the green check mark just appeared! This post met the mission needs!
