Yep..and those sound FX are pretty crappy now.

But as announced in the latest dev blog here, at 2:50: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7FPA2Bh6g0g all of that is about to change with the NEW(hopefully awesome) turret sounds.

Been waiting for an update on SFX for ages now..so all I can say is, a big THANK YOU CCP! Big smile

I want my 1400mm arty to sound like impending doom, after all it is throwing chunks of metal the size of a VW 50km.

My 800mm repeating artillery has the boring old boom sound, yet the animation is a rapid burst fire from a gatling cannon.

Oh and my gallente drones and XL Ion Siege Blaster has the same sound :P.

most gamers are internet perverts and so turning down the eve sounds helps listen to the pron better, cant have gun shots going off during, puts me off my thing

Can I customize my laser sounds? I want them to sound like farts, cause they are sh!t.
