CCP found new way to make money

Old news is old.
But I am a pretty slow guy , so haters can go fkuck a duck.

You can now exchange a PLEX , as in AN ENTIRE PLEX for a resculpt opportunity.
Considering how , resculpts were given out for free before that , and with the current PLEX charging resculpt giving you no more options to change your character as before.
As in , NO changing of bloodlines. NO changing of factions and NO changing of education.

That seems a bit... can you say.... " greedy" ?

They've said previously that resculpts weren't supposed to be free. You may have had one lying around if your account was marked for resculpting after one of the patches.

But seriously...CCP charging people for cosmetic issues...OH GOD, MY SPACESHIPS WON'T FUNCTION NOW....oh wait. Nope. Not affected in the least.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

After rescultping my toon once after the update.
I asked for another one a few weeks later, I petitioned it , and the GM flagged me for a resculpt.

Everyone used to have a ONE a life time FREE resculpt.
But NO MORE.

Cos its now a money cow waiting to be milked.

how else to market a product?
You give it out for free, because people aren't going to pay for something they haven't tasted...
then once everyone is using them regularly, bam smack a price tag on it.

Source please? I don't think CCP has ever stated that everyone gets one free resculpt. You may be confusing the issue with the free resculpt CCP offered EXISTING PLAYERS soon after the new avatar system went live. Gonna see if I can find a source when I get back home tonight.

CCP gives out resculpts when the sculpting process during avatar creation changes - such as skin color changes. I haven't been able to find a reference to "one free resculpt per lifetime". In fact, CCP has offered SEVERAL free resculpts to players.

This is one of the problems I have with people - when CCP does something they don't like, they INVENT a supposed promise CCP has made not to do that thing. Please don't put words in CCP's mouth - this is exactly the sort of thing which makes developers stop interacting with the players, which gives us less chance to stop idiotic things like gold ammo, carrier nerfs, and etc...

Where does the GM claim you have one free resculpt per lifetime?

GM is only saying that giving free resculpts is NOT normal procedure for them, so you should be thankful that they did something special for you.

I couldn't give a rats arse what my avatar looks like, my sculpting lasted approx 20 seconds before i skipped straight to spinning my ship in the station.

But of course thats just my personal view.

I have to admit , it is kinda a special treatment, but the reason why I even petitioned for it is because I heard its possible on Help chat and a lot of the guys there have actually done it before.

Everyone had a resculpt for free, this is true. So theer you go, happy days. Swapping your portrait always cost £20. Now it costs just £10 (plex arnt £20 you gimp)

Id say CCP have actually given something for free, AND have reduced the cost of a resculpt.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.
