I signed up to become a BugHunter last year... after all the requisite forms of ID, copy of drivers license, etc, I LITERALLY spent several hours a day for nearly three weeks waiting in the IRC channel to speak to someone about my application. Gave up on it. Hope ISD works better than BugHunters recruiting.

Absolutely - it's a word I don't like to throw around lightly.

I've been around this community since 2003 as a player, 2005 as a member of ISD.
In that time I've had various real-life traumas and quite a few good times too.

But throughout it all, thick and thin, this community has kept me uplifted, amazed, surprised and sometimes in genuine awe of the human spirit.

As with Suvetar I've been around a long time as a player and I too have seen my fair share of uplifting awesomeness come from this family of ours. I say family because for many people that is what EVE has become, and I could not imagine a better place to spend what little free time I have these days. Big smile

To be fair, I'm not exactly a hardcore player although I've been playing on and off since the start..

But to be honest, I could never associate myself with that organisation. They don't do a good job in my opinion. I've seen far too many witty posts locked because of a lack of either reading ability or intelligence, frankly.

One could argue that the way to fix something is to contribute, but I've got other responsiblities.

Eve is about the journey.  If you are so focused on making money, that you insist on having the tools to make it be made as autonomous and easy as possible, then you are never going to have as much fun as I will.

This isn't a public forum, you have to be a subscriber to use it, and it's a forum about a spaceship game.

A post might be 'Witty' but it doesn't mean it's on topic or even allowed.

Someone said earlier that if people could only just start being constructive instead of trying to find way to work around the rules, this place would be a lot better.
