Changes to Low-sec/0.0

I think we can all agree that some changes need to happen in low-sec and 0.0. There are people that dislike the inability to dock supers and titans and some of the other aspects of caps.

So here's my suggestion for a low-sec / 0.0 improvement plan:

1) Allow all caps to dock at station, however impose a few rules around cap docking
a) Impose a docking fee
i) 1M for Carriers and Dreads
ii) 10M for Supercarriers
iii) 100M for Titans
b) Impose a maximum docks / station timer. -- Max. 3 docks/station in a 24-hour period.
2) Since you will need to pay to dock and have a max number of times you can dock, add a "view ships outside station" option. This will allow you to check for station camps before undocking.
3) Outposts should have capabilities for controlled guns.
4) New POS modules should be added for hull and armor reppers.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?


1.) If you want caps to dock in a station, it needs to have significant and serious drawbacks....
a & b.) Corps control the docking fees on Player controlled stations, as well as whom can dock there... I don't think the docking fees you suggested are at all reasonable for the benefits a Supercap pilot gets. In short... try again, because your current suggestion is laughably lenient.

2.) Meh... Kickout stations are rare now, and the 10-s session change timer makes it so you can usually redock long before anyone can seriously hurt you.

3.) Why?? We don't need more tools to kill other players while being 100% safe... I see no point in Outpost guns...

4.) How about you just use the fitting service to fit reppers and rep yourself up... Why add pos modules to do this?

1) No. The current rules work fine. Super Carrier and Titan pilots were aware of the inability to dock before they trained and jumped into their shiny.

2) No. That's what corporation/alliance intel is for. If you've got an expensive shiny then get someone to get eyes on the outside of the station for you.

3) This is something that wil probably come along with the reworking of POS system. It does seem a little odd that as a corp we can defend a POS but not an outpost.

4) Again the reworking of the POS system will probably address this. I'd wait for that rather than looking to add new modules to the existing system.
