in simple yes all historical transactions appear in the wallet even after transfer, so what i would recommend just create a dead alt then transfer the isk to him then move it after, delete the dead alt, this will make the jounral entry pointless

in terms of hte plex, just have them in station and then right click "add to redeemable items" then when you log into the account management to transfe the toon you select payment by plex and it will pick up fact you have 2 plex in the redeem state and use them

Hi everyone. Can someone confirm that i can pay for a new Character with another account. For example, this one i have is 4 months old, yet i have just set up a new one today with no charachters loaded, it's just empty to move my new charachter in to (when i buy one) i assume this is all ok?!

I hope that makes sense :P

Yes i often set up a new account using the buddy program then when i buy a toon transfer to that accout.
The only rule is that the account must be fully paid up, IE not on trial.

Just make a post in your topic. If it's just for the sole purpose of bumping type like "Bump" or something. Just remember this can only be done once a day.

If the character change the rules during WTS? First was b/o price 23 bil. Now he changed the rules... And he changed the rules after one guy make b/o offer 24 bil. Is this normal? https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=153291&p=2

How long does it take for a newly fully activated account to be able to receive a character? I created and subbed a new account yesterday at 10:00 eve time and doesn't let me use the character transfer service..

In the T&C nothing has been fully agreed until isk has been transferred, and even then should the parties be unhappy the isk can be returned and nothing has been broken, unlike somewhere like Ebay where once the buy out price is met the buyer has to fulfill his duty this isn't the case, quite often you will see a buy price far exceed the OPs original WTS price.

Usually it is only a matter of about 15minutes max, even then once the new account is subbed up full paying then its near immediate, I have (roughly) created 35 accounts and had bought many toons to be used on the new aaccounts, and never has it failed, so i must ask... Have you upgraded the account from a trial to full?? if so then i would suggest if still a problem to petition CCP and advise them of such.
I am assuming your buying a toon, however i believe if a toon is being sold then its either 3 or 7 days until a toon can be sold from a new account.

Hope that answes both questions.

Can this rule not be changed to make it easier for some of us who would like to see if selling our toons is a viable option maybe something along lines of

"no financial transaction to take place unless the toon is in an NPC corp" rather than

    as you can see im not the only one who wants further information...

    The only people that would seem to gain from this would be character traders who dont play the characters they own. rather than the regular eve players who might/might not want to upgrade their toon to a betteer one if they can sell their current toon

    Also just had a look and at a rough guess i see in region of 50 locked threads over last few days just because they are not in npc corporation, and most (in region of 45) state they will be in npc within 24hours, this is in terms of use of time a complete was of ISD time and could surely be spent in better areas of eve (how about jita local locking all the bots/macroers from spamming scam contracts and nope i dont mean the regualr scams but the guys who seem to be able to spam for roughly 22 hours a day every day(not instead of regular players trying to sell toons)



    Whilst i started this thread some time ago on a now sold toon, i would like to ask all non affiliated buyers to report any thread where the toon is in player corp being sold to be reported, whilst creating more work for the GM's we might actually force/get them to reconsider the ludicrious rule about being a NPC at time of listing,whilst i know this might be wrong way round, but if they are complaing about a few Petitions regarding some buyers waiting 24hours for roles to drop, creating a load of reported posts might show them that it is worthwhile changing the rule to jsut state how long until a player being sold will take until he/she is in a NPC corp to be transferred.

    This toon is available in an account sepparatly of mine, Will I have to do the transfer? it will cost 2 plex right?

    List the character on eveboard.com you will need the api for this.
    Then create a forum listing, ensuring that the toon is in NPC corp before doing this.... (see my post above yours)
    Think of a price, then sell ONLY VIA FORUM.
    once the guys sends you isk, transfer isk from your toon > alt, then transfer on the account management screen, ensuring eith you have enough on your credit card or the 2 plexes within the redeemable system on the character your going to transfer.
    As a seller you can't really get scammed because you dont move him until the isk is received.

    Can I sell a char with SP's that are not allocated? The char has 2 mill SP's that were refunded from learning skills that I have not used? Or do I have to spend them?

    Yes just list them in the advert, people will often look favoroubly on toons with un-accolated SP as they can use this themselves... :)

    Just put a thread up on the toon being sold saying "pvt sale to toon xyz". and then XYZ confirms and bingo done.

    I have a question, when i am buying a new character, do i send the isk to the character im buying along withmy user name (i use to log on with) within a mail? if not where do i send the isk?

    Rule 8 states 'The character for sale must be from an active account, you cannot trade characters from inactive accounts.'

    can the transfer be done with an hour games time left, or does the account have to be active for the 10 hour cooling off period, could some1 clarify please
