So,
I just moved into Blood Raider null sec and need to sort myself a ship out for running complexes and anomalies. I hear the neuting is pretty brutal and that scares me since I usually use a double rep armour hardener Dominix setup with an alt to RR and add DPS if necessary. Clearly that wont work if my domi has no cap.

What are other people using for running anomalies and 5,6,7,8/10 plexes in Blood Raider space? Is it time I bought a T3 or will that not help much? Or do my tactics just need to change?

May sound a bit silly, but an artillery Maelstrom might not be bad, if you use EMP shells and fit a cap booster (or maybe an ancillary shield booster, but with a standard shield booster/cap booster setup, you can save your cap booster charges for emergencies).

Why not set up the Buckingham test client on your computer? You can then test out a wide variety of ships and fits with no risk.
I prefer first hand experience when it comes to EVE.

Jerrek my friend,

I have recently bought a Gila which seems to be working ok (will work better once i've got the skills to use tech II sentries)

Speak to me in game and i'll try to help where i can.

Your best bet is to have a T3 dedicated tank running on passive shields, and a pure DPS battleship with simplistic cloaking capabilities (for respawns).

Post-AI buff this won't work.

Gank-fit a faction battleship, no local tank required. Then, park it in the center of an anomaly and use your alt to fly a Basilisk or Guardian to provide cap and reps. You don't even need large reps, 3 mediums is plenty, and easier on the cap if you're not logi 5.

Put him on orbit, and forget about him until the next anomaly. An Armageddon (for starters) or Machariel/Nightmare (for vets) works well, because the utility high is great for a large cap transfer.

Post-AI buff effects will be inconsequential: the logi will speed and sig tank any aggro, and your gank fit BS will drop rats faster than it would ever cause concern.

For most blood plexes this works very good:
- Passive-Shieldrecharge-Rattlesnake tanks, Tempest makes Damage.

For some plexes (10/10) you better take a 98%-em-resi-armor-tank like a loki or a muninn or an amarr-bs and rep with a domi (or a logistic - but then you need another dps-ship)
