Why do most Minatar ships have Solar Panels on them? Are they powered by the sun or something? Also when you buy a loki how many free rolls of duct tape does one get?

This is not solar panels. This is cooling radiators for their old nuclear reactors.

That wouldn't work very well... can't transfer heat that well into a vacuum.

Six months in the hole... it changes a man.

Ever wonder how things in space get hot being exposed to the sun?

Actually it's a part of a weapon, ships docks together and all those panels reflects the sun into one fucused beam. Smile

That's why they're so big and frilly — more surface to radiate from.

I'll bet it's not due to convection.

The word "radiator" contains the clue that will help you.

You mean liquid vacuum huh? Dont forget that there is no usual physics in New Eden Universe.
Besides there is lot of objects in EVE space that you cannot call "usual vacuum' like gas clouds, for example.

Those are not solar panels -- those are solar powered grills for cooking all my bacon Roll

MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......................... Bacon Cool

Guristas should have "BIGGER" Skull Bunnies in the default paintjob. Guristas and all other pirates should get custom ships like angels (or at LEAST fix the HIDEOUS Moa/Gila hull).

Yeah... how exactly are nuclear reactors cooled again?

You guys are so cruel to each other, space love is the way man. Space love for all.

Plus they have to be solar cells, everyone knows a nuclear reactor alone can't possibly power both the scapbucket of a ship and the Rastafarian Space Dub.

I'm picking up a lot of radiation...
they're operating without core
containment. Well, that's feng kuang de,
that's suicide...

Actually they are massive barbecue devices where former Amarrian combat pilots are turned to tasty chicken McCarnage.

...and amount of duct tape is related to amount of rust. More trust, less duct tape. More rust, more duct tape.
