Rogue Drones idea.

I don't know if this has been suggested. Give rogue drones power take over a players drones basically turning them traitor. Maybe have them have a special weapon on them that they target drone with that does the same "damage" as their normal weapons but when they reach the point where the drone would be destroyed by this special damage type, that drone would then go rogue and join with the others.

Congrats. Now droneboats will never be used in the drone lands (because really... why would you ever want to risk your primary weapon system?)

Way I read it, you'll only have your drones taken over if they were going to be killed by that shot anyways.

So just instead of your drone getting blown up, it starts to shoot you instead.

Though I can't even imagine the nightmare that would be to code.

Well they could always switch back if you kill the drone that enslaved them.
