How dare you release Ship Spinning Tomorrow on Tuesday before the Winter Expansion?


This is, like, the first time ever. It's unprecedented and really disturbing. I am at a loss for words.


You're releasing content before you announced it would come? I think this is highly disturbing news from you and I demand that you release all content on your designated time schedule!

Yes, I actually Unliked you during the Jita protests. You have been re-liked.


I will admit I will probably stick with the CQ most of the time - cuz the Incarna team has done an awesome job visually there.

I will totally appreciate ship spinning though for when I'm on the move and don't have time to load/have no need for ambulating.

If it will need 17 million little updates over the next two weeks (as it usually goes) then you released it early. Not trying to be bitter or anything but the ONE thing CCP should have taken from all that's been happening lately is "IF you do it, do it right".

How hard is it to re-implement a feature that it was only removed. Its not as if ship spinning has been a complete overhaul. Or has it?

It sort of did need an overhaul, because with Incarna CCP replaced the graphics engine. They burned a software bridge. To bring back the hangar view they had to get it to work with the new graphics engine.

Question about the hangar view: If we look in the right place do we see the balcony?

It was removed and never updated for the new Core technology, AFAIK. This would mean they couldn't just toggle a 0 to a 1 and get it all working, they've probably had to re-code at least a small portion of it to get it to work with the new Incarna engine.

so.. yeah.. i went to the facebook page, as navigator suggested...

and found something that amused the hell out of me.

'evewiz.com' advertised on the eve online facebook page.

now i know that CCP has no control over the adverts facebook put on their page, but i can't help wondering...

are you guys using facebook as an easy way to hunt down those nasty RMT sites?? lol

Just wanted to say, EVE feels "right" on this glorious day.



Now just fix where the CQ Balcony "sits" in the hangar so it's at least a believable position in the hangar and not sitting in "emptiness" when you go to the ship spinning we'll be square. What?


Every noob player is going to go "OOH, CAN I SEE MY PLAYER ON MY BALCONY" and look there and see nothing but emptiness. I'm not saying we need to SEE the _balcony_, I'm saying at least put the balcony overlook where there's a wall, not just... nothing.
