Hi there,

for a small idea of me i would like the eve ships without or white Background, does someone know if they exists somewhere?

In that fansitekit i only found them with backgrond.

Have been looking for this myself to no avail.

I wish CCP would provide us them on green-screen but no dice. Your best bet is finding some outlandishly bright (and flat) nebula and photoshopping.

The Problm is i'm not good at Photoshop, and the Pictues have such difficult to backgrounds.

For Example Rifter before reddisch Nebula.. it nearls imbossible "for "me to get this out.

take a paint brush set the point real low and trace around the ship. increase the size of brush and repeat. the smaller the brush and the slower you so the better it will look. I'm impatient, so unless it's really important I just rush through.

What ships? Could you mail or give me a link to the pictures I'll be able to get the background removed for you

I looked for this in the data dump files too and no joy. The problem with the photoshop approach is that the contrast between ship and space/hanger means most of the automatic cropping tools don't work. To compound the problem, a lot of ships have pylons and semi-transparent sections tha are difficult to work with.

There is also the effect of the shader effects and lense flares, which mean you can get very bright sections tht look weird when you cha g the background or light source context.

Granted a professional graphics designer could do it I'm sure but it's a challenge.

Would be nice if someone could help with this.

I would like to get hte Titans Dreads Marauders, Blackops and Supercarrier of the 4 races.

I'm trying to program a cardgame (Doppelkopf) and wanted to use Eve Pictures instead of the King and so.

:-)
