Hi, i am a corp leader and helping trying to build a alliance. I know that i will probably get trolled for saying some of the things i am going to say here but idk. What i am looking for is some help, pointers, tips anything that could help me with the problem i am having. So please any help is appreciated.

One i am going to start off with what me and a friend of mine are trying to create. We want to create a pure pvp alliance that goes around and kills anything we want, ( more or less pirates ) kindof what pl use to be. Now that i said what we are trying to build let me just say that i know that it may take a little while to get big enough to pvp even a little like what pl use to. This is not really the problem the alliance right now maybe has 20 chars and 5 to 6 active, we have a very good fc and leader of the alliance, but still not getting anyone that even shows a want to be in the alliance. With only a few of us in the alliance that are active and no solo pvpers, ( even though i am trying to get better ) we have no real killboards. I have talked to some people in corps and just single pilots and people say they like the direction of the corp but no one is willing to join no real reason why.

So for the question, what does the players of eve want from an alliance or corp to join? What can we do to get more pilots? Why wont people join a alliance even though they say they like the direction? Any help with this is welcome.

You haven't mentioned the area of space you want to operate in. That makes a world of difference.

You will be far FAR better of decveloping your corp into a lean fighting force THEN looking to start an alliance. Join an alliance yourselves first, get growth going and a proven pvp track record, prove you can lead.

Then once you have that track record and can show a presence of 20 to 30 online in your prime time, fleeting up and killing stuff, THEN you form your own alliance and go your way. If people log on and see 3 guys online they will leave a day later. If thy log on and see 20 online and out pvping, they will stay.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.
