Hang on... did you join a corp that is perpetually at war, and then go missioning, expecting not to get blown up...

There is no such thing as a fair fight...

If your fighting fair you have automatically put yourself at a disadvantage.

I'm very resentful that evolution forces me to work with others to achieve that level of pleasure. Life is supposed to be a sandbox damn it!

I think he said he was simply moving the ship when he got nailed, he originally bought it for missioning.

New RvB members should seriously stick to ships and fittings that cost under a mil until they figure out how things work. It's not uncommon to lose several a night.

1) Please show where I asked to have my hand held....because I can direct you to my Recruitment post where I specifically said the opposite.

2) please show where I asked the vets for anything.

3) WTF are you talking about dude?

I lost my Caracal earlier today and 5 minutes ago I was podded in a .5 system. That's still considered high sec. They do not have (or if they do they do not enforce) ANY rules on podding or killing outside of scheduled events.

here you clearly indicate you are incapable of finding out about anything on your own, and hence cant even tell the difference between a member of rvb podding you and a 3rd party wartarget. There is so much info about this stuff on the rvb forums/welcome mails/corp channel motd that there's no excuse for "not knowing". You're just lazy and need someone to walk your through everything.

...but I don't need some Dbag who go in with a huge Alliance first out because he was butt buddies with the leaders out of game telling me how to go about things. His punk ass loses a ship, Goons buy him another one. I lose a ship I have work to get another one,so his opinion is moot to me.

here you are whining that your not getting handouts like the newbies in big alliances full of vets

KillerPriest
Hey bro....that's awesome.
...now if we could give ALL new players 25 merlins when they start, I'm sure things would go well for them too.
What's that you say???We DON'T all have a dad who's established and able to give them millions of isk and free ships???
Whaaaaat....?
Well nevermind then.

more of the same whining about not getting handouts

I think to achieve true bitter vet status you have to be able to remember Armageddon day AND still be stunningly handsome.

Or at the very least still have some Jovian body parts stashed in a hanger somewhere.

(Still waiting for the event that lets us DO something with those CCP)

Big smile

Rvb gives you a very good starter info package. Are you illiterate or just stupid? There is tons of help available in rvb.

This is some great nerd rage over some space pixels though, and only a week in! Learn to read.

I am trying to inform new players, because they aren't being honest about what they really are. This is NOT a training corporation, which is what I requested and a member recommended I apply claiming that this is what they were.

First someone with a char called "Killer....." shouldn't cry to loud after losing stuff ;).

And second you are right ... RvB NEVER was nor wanted to be a "training Corp". If you had visited their Forum/HP AND read what is written there you would have known it before you joined! If at all they want to be a "PvP training corp" which is a BIG difference!

But the real intend is just to have some PvP fun without politic and the need to join a low/null powerblock. (And they DO have rules about PODing!)

Seriously dude?

Really? I have Killer in my name so.....what? I have "Priest" too. Do you assume I'm Catholic?

Again, the MEMBER WHO REFERRED ME IMPLIED that it was a TRAINING CORP. Therefor I joined with the intention of joining a TRAINING CORP.

Seriously dude? You want to be a Killer and cry about beeing killed?

Anyhow, I was once in RvB and the very first I had to do was to READ the introduction at their HP/forum.

But well, I don't expect anything else from guys who:
- use uncreative stuff like "...Killer..."
- big and small letters
- numbers
- uncommon ASCII chars
in their names.

Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship!

Yeah..... ok....... Enough of this thread. This has turned into one big bash against a rookie pilot.

@OP - Just give it another chance and start slow. Read up on everything that you can before making any choices about joining a corporation. There are many groups out there (and have been recommended in here) that help pilots out. If you have questions the ISD:STAR group does/has held a few seminars on the topics.

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISD_Seminars

Anyways I just read 5 pages of bashing so in the words of Mim Garr from HC from earlier today.
