This Thread is a work in progress, currently being edited.

I have a idea, I can design a simple ship's bridge environment in CE3. I can have you in the seat of the captains chair of a Caldari Drake in cryengine 3, I can make it so that you can talk to your bridge officers through mic to either AI officers or player bridge officers the AI officers will respond like a rpg thats all easy work. I can make it so for example: you command your helm to turn hard to port and in eve the AI program will move your mouse and click etc to turn the ship in eve hard to port, and also command the com officer to activate sensors, max range, 90 deg, and to look for a "eveonlineexampleplayer's Manticore" and the com officer in the CE3 game will say in voice wither a player voice or a pre recorded com officer ai's voice and say to the captain that the target ship has been spoted or something like that.; and you can also command your helm officer to find the ship and warp to its nearest coordinates. The AI in eve will do all this in game, it will move the mouse and find the scanner button, click and search, and use a pattern finder to find the word 'eveonlineexampleplayer's Manticore' and then warp the object where the player was found using your ships sensors. If say you have to engage to enemy ship in combat, you simply tell your tactical officer to lock on all weapons and fire on the enemy ship. The AI program will find the players icon in the game engine of eve and Ctrl click to lock on and then will press F1 F2 F3 F4 etc..
Now thats all an example of the effects of the AI program in EVE, but now lets talk about the effects in the game in Cryengine 3
The player is a first person or third person player. they can walk around the bridge look at the fancy colors and lights, walk threw fancy ammarian or caldari corridors etc... and even take control of the sci fi bridge equipment of eve online and they can look at the terminals and use computers all inside this game, and it all will have relevance to controlling the AI program in eve online, and keeping you in the game without letting this AI program make mistakes.
Also you get to look out in to space from your bridge windows, and you see your eve online view port :)

This would be skating dangerously close to (if not running straight over) the like of botting.

There's only one acceptable client for EVE, and that's the one that CCP provide. Anything else would probably be a breach of the EULA. Especially if you're hitting memory locations for information.

Woo! CSM XI!
