Hi, I'm just wondering how one goes around calculating the price of a BPO over NPC prices once it's been researched.

Are there any tools / guides on this?

Whatever people are willing to pay.

It varies depending on the blueprint and the price and availability of BPCs.

Look on contracts and comparison shop.

It is not really something you can calculate. Some add a specific amount per hour of research invested. But this can be far from the "going rate" for that BPO if many players have one researched and/or the BPC's sell cheap the worth of the BPO may go down regardless of time invested.

On the other hand some BPO's that are harder to get can be worth more just depending on where you sell them. For example the ORE BPO's that can only be bought from NPC's in 0.0 space are already worth more when sold in high sec just due to the bother of going into null to get them.

Also the ME/PE benefits are not liner. Some BPO's there is only a marginal material reduction between ME 10 and ME 100, while most of the value in material reduction is in the first 5-10 ME but may take over ME 200 to reach perfect ME status. Every BPO is different.

The price of researched BPO's is so variable from market drift and proximity to NPC's selling the raw BPO's that it is not possible to calculate what the BPO is worth based on the BPO raw value and ME/PE research.

I generally just check contracts for the same BPO i'm trying to sell. Find BPOs with a similar ME/PE as yours and price so it fits in with the others on the contracts system. Also perhaps join the Blueprint market channel, there is always people willing to give you a rough idea on value (as well joke prices).

Good luck in your sales.
