Corporation Markets, Tabs and Hangers

Being around eve for the past couple of years, one major problem has always presented itself, the lack of corporate infrastructure. Not being able to properly execute services is a major setback.

ArrowThe TL;DR
1 - In depth Corporation Market tab, allows people to buy/sell to/from the corporation and to its members with certain rights at office locations.
2 - The "I am an individual" tab. A personal hanger that operates like a corporate hanger. Allows you to start/run corporation jobs from it. (mainly used for POS research).
3 - The ability to create or delete corporation wallet tabs or corporation hanger slots

ArrowThe Reading

Idea1 - The creation of a corporation market tab would be invaluable to corporations and their ability to run services. Allowing members to sell their items directly to the corporation or listing them to other members; and allowing the corporation to sell finished products back to the members. However the market would operate more efficiently and more regulated than the current market system.

It would start with 3 setting options:
Arrow Free Market; operates like the usual market system at an office location, allows ALL members.
Arrow Secured market; "operates...", only members with the proper role may use the corporate market.
Arrow Regulated Market; requires roles, heavily regulated.

Before i go more into Regulated market systems. A new role with an enhanced system would have to be created, presets can be saved/loaded to act as sub roles that may be applied to members. The "Market Role Management" tab would go in depth into the regulation process. Limiting members to how much of an item they can purchase day/week/month (to ensure someone wont go and buy the whole market up). It will also limit to what each member has access too, specialty pricing vs. regular pricing, what type of orders they may place and in what section, and more to come with new ideas.

Now the Regulated market would need compliment to most of the limitations set by the roles. If someone wishes to purchase more of one time individual sellers may bypass this and allow "wiggle room" to a certain extent. Once the "wiggle room" is filled or not available, the seller would have to confirm the sale before the buyer receives the item. Regulation on the corporate side may be allowed as well. For example, if a corporation had a, and most common in corps, ORE purchase program, they could close off buy order creation for that particular section of the market. This regulation allows corps to close off entire items or item sections to members, allowing for these programs to be in place.

Lastly, orders may be created/completed with a corporate or personal wallet.

Idea2 - The individual corporate tab is self explanatory to anyone who has said "I wish I could use alliance or corporation labs without throwing my expensive BPOs into the mix of others". This allows members to do exactly that. It rids us of the countless password protected cans in corporate hanger. This idea can be expanded on however, allowing for a personal drop hanger to help keep track of what members want to give to the corporation, and be rewarded for it.

Idea3 - Simple, allows for more than 7 wallet tabs/corp hangers to be created. Can be limited like the amount of fittings we may save. This will allow for more versatility with the wallets. Allowing for more members to have special access to things they normally wouldn't have the ability to.

That's my two cents, flame away.

Contracts are OK for selling ship kits and officer modules / researched blueprints, but meh for pretty much anything else.

Just a couple more options on the market page would be great.

I can see the use for this. Contracts are only so useful, and a Corporation or Alliance restricted market would really help people manage prices and availability for their allies.

The make and delete Corp hangars/wallets function would be nice in one application. Lose the 7 tabs and redo it with one, so their is only a Master Wallet, and a primary Corp hangar that is secure as the CEO wants it to be. The Master Wallet is CEO access only, with any additional Wallets being capable of being set to individual or group access. The Hangar is Director Access only.

Every member in the Corp gets a 'Corp' Hangar, but it is part of their account and character, (on their character node). This keeps the Corp interface from becoming overloaded with stuff. A Corp member may be viewed by a Security Officer, and if they are using an individual Corp hangar on a POS or the like, the contents may be viewed. They may be audited.

Additional Corp Hangars may be opened, but they would need to be set up before use and the total number would need to be limited.

Also, Alliances and Corps, (but particularly Alliances), should be capable of having a CEO/Executor assigned politial structure. They could be democratic, but the person who makes the Alliance should be able to make that decision, rather than living with what the game grants, (democratic), to everybody.

I like this. I'll do some reworking of the idea when I get home.
