Nomen.

You'll blow through 2s in no time and it can be used for 3s and even 4s with enough skills (sp and player skills). Drooooooones.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I'll definitely do some more research. I'm sticking with Amarr ships as I get a bonus to energy turrets!

Missions is a way to make isk, not to have fun.

Hence don't use too expensive ships with what could be done with cheaper tools.

Spend those money to go shoot at some real peepls instead.

I usually don't do PvP, and actually have fun running missions. Big smile

These are the ships I used in Amarr missions from lvl 1-4:

lvl 1: Punisher/Coercer - New Tormentor will work great now as well.
lvl 2: Punisher/Coercer - New tomrentor will work. Arbitrator (one of the sexiest ships in game)
lvl 3: Arbitrator/Harbinger
lvl 4: Harbinger (if I wanted a challenge)/Armageddon/Abaddon

all apart from arbitrator are laser boats so should keep you enjoing the laser fun.

Edit: I have used these from lvl 1-4 in both Amarr (sansha) adn Gallente (Serps) mission without any issues and easy isk making.
Other regions will have slightly different results based on damage types delt and rat resists.

That is the Way, the Tao.

Balance is everything.

i was useing a punisher up to lvl 3's , dunno why you would need a cruiser?

I'm with this. A beam punisher or coercer is the way to go for amarr level 2's.

its about speed.. you will do them MUCH quicker in a cruiser than a frig or dessy. What you saying is use a drake to do LVL4's cause it can.. why use a BS What?

I don't know about Amarr, but when I started L2s, I used an Assault Frigate(Wolf) instead of anything cruiser sized.

Nice, I'll check it out. But I do like Amarr since I get major laser turret bonuses.

vengeance

retribution

edit* Also can be used for expensive PVE.
This sight isn't updated. you really need to see them with your own eyes.

Then you can skip the Zealot completely. It's not a good PvE boat.

Oh no, God no.........I have to agree with Tippia. It's only good for fleet PVP.

I used a Navy Slicer for Amarr L2s. Might be more appropriate if you want to stick to lasers.

I'm on the hunt for an Amarr cruiser. I can currently fly a Navy Faction Omen. But my question is, should I wait and train for the Tech II Zealot? Is this a better ship? It seems very similar to the Navy Faction version but I'd like to hear some opinions. Thanks!

Since you're already in lazors, look at the Ashimmu. Cruiser sized, 100% laser damage bonus, a couple drones for fast moving frigates... Good stuff.

I used one to grind my main back from Minnie -5 standing; drop a couple medium faction smartbombs in addition to 3x T2 Beam or Pulse, and you can plow thru anything that gets too close in seconds. Very underrated ship, IMHO. Lol

Come to think of it I don't remember whether I fit 2x medium or small factions SBs, but either way it gets the job done.

I compared it to the Navy Faction Omen and it does have more energy grid than the Omen, but the Omen has more turret hard points and more drone capacity, plus it's a lot cheaper. I might go with the Navy Omen...

uhm, the ashimmu has only 3 turrets, but gets a 100% damage bonus for these turrets. navy omen only has 5 turrets if i recall.

Navy Omen: 5x turrets + ROF bonus
Ashimmu: 3 turrets + 100% damage bonus

Do the math. :) Your original post didn't mention that you wanted a cheap solution, so I just made the best choice for the class you asked about. I use my Ashimmu's regulalry; my Navy Omen is basically mothballed right now.
