How does one go about doing an Incursion?

So I finally finished training for my Basilisk fit. Got all the nice stuff on there. I intended on using this thing for serious PvE, (WHs, Incursions, etc...) but I've never done an Incursion before? What should I do to start up with one? Go to the staging system and just advertise my fit until I get invited to a fleet? Will I be okay without voice coms?

Depending on your skills check out TVP and ISN secondary in game chats. Can search them on the forums.

Easiest way is head to an asteroid belt in Tama or Kinakka then advertise in local that you are looking for an incursion fleet.

It's easier to find pilots if you link your fit in local so that they know you are not setting them up for ganks.

and while you are at it, why not tell him to eject from his ship at the belt? Lol

Well, there's 2 ways to do an Incursion.

If DPS ship:
Warp to site.
Target the broadcast rat.
Press F1
Broadcast for reps

if Logi
Add squad member to watchlist
Warp to site
Lock up other logi and cap chain
Wait for broadcasts

Pretty simple, neh?
