Haven't found an entry on the new forums tracking EFT. Last posting on old forums said that support of new API support was in the works. Did EFT make the jump to the new forums? Is it alive?

EDIT - on 10/21/11 Gripen released EFT version 2.13.5, which supplied support for the new API model. Thanks, Gripen!!

I asked Gripen via EVEMail and it is still in the works. Once the new release is out he'll post and update here.

Try Pyfa @ www.evefit.org/Pyfa. I personally think it's loads better than EFT, and I believe it supports the new API system

It does support the new API, but the switch from EFT to Pyfa isnt easy. Pyfa looks very sleek and performs very well (besides some subsystem errors).

Ive been using it for several days now and although I still like EFT better for functionality (drag modules ontop of others to replace, colored slotting, etc) I do appreciate a lot of the calculations Pyfa does for you instead of running windows calc and dividing boost by duration/etc.

If anything, start learning Pyfa now as they stay on top of their development and seem to be refining this software continuously.

I started using Pyfa last night, not a bad application and I too hope Pyfa adds many of the features you mention. Once Pyfa has those features it'll be a real competitor to EFT.

Sure? It looks terrible and works not much better than it looks.
