Yeah it would seem like you are correct. I didn't read it properly. So yeah that ruins it a bit for me. But whatever I am not participating in it either way.

If this tournament causes PLEX prices to rise enough for people to finally subscribe to EVE by means of the old fashioned monthly payment plan it'll mean more income for CCP and more development of the game.
