Eve Online - Retribution - Winter Expansion announced

Everybodies favorite eve-website themittani.com had a correspondent at the eve meeting in London where CCP Soundwave and CCP Unifex shared some interesting information

The Expansion will be called Retribution and is scheduled for early december, possibly the 4th

Looks like the new crimewatch will make it into the winter expansion, also a new bounty system, lots of UI changes, lots of Dust stuff and also corp- and other chat-channels via browser access

Those of you who were in London, share the love and let us know what they told you

it reads like the mechanic will allow you to place a bounty on specific ships, hulkageddon as an official feature, so much about CCP buffing carebearing Pirate

Did not think the bounty system would actually work. It seems there may actually be some consequences to things I've done.

Dammit. Well I'm screwed. So are my alts. I'm going to need a "clean" guy now. UghWhat?

Looks like Retribution is gonna be even better than Inferno (hard to top tbh.)

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

Just get one of your alts to pod your main real quick, not a big deal.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

there is still crucible above all other expansions, i doubt they can top it Cool

I read that as just meaning that bounties would be paid out on the bountied player's ship death rather than just pod kill as currently, not that you could put bounties on an entire shipclass.

I sort of hope its your version though.

I've been following this... that only works up to a point. The real cost to me could come from somebody limiting me and my alt's ability to move through highsec. If a bounty hunter corp decs my corp the freighters will get caught. If I put them in NPC corps they have to pay 10% or more to the man. There are limits to what you can do to manipulate this system. I think as more is revealed we're going to see that dodging this isn't going to be that easy. In any event... I loose something, in both the Machiavellian and Sun Tzu contexts. They can put a bounty on you that is a contract for multiple kills and pays portions depending on ship types and pods killed, as I understand it.

Signatures should be used responsibly...

sadly, the official version from massively reads a bit different :(

there is still hope though :(

the official page wont load on my phone, does it offer any hints ? same with the massively screenshots. getting downgraded to less-than-modem speed at the end of the month sucks :(

Crime watch or something else not in any of the screen shots we have seen so far?
